I have a criminal background... I would like to ask the Govener of WI, for a pardon... Who do I contact and how do I petition the govener... Is there a certain series of steps I need to go through? Can someone Please contact me back and let me know what steps I need to follow? THANKS... Czki 2/21/07

Before wasting money on a 'mouthpiece', contact your state attorney general's office, or you might try the local clerk of the Superior Court, especially if it was the one you were convicted in.

Because of the criteria and legal jargon needed to even consider applying for a pardon...your BEST bet is to contact an attorney in your local area!
