Bush wants his presidential library to be located in Dallas, Texas. There is a howl of protests coming from the residents of Dallas about this library. They worry about terrorist attacks at the library, some are losing their homes through eminent domain to build the library, methodist ministers are circulating petitions to keep the library out.

Dallas has already been the location of one presidential assassination. Is Bush going to make history repeat itself?

Shouldn't he go where he is wanted?

Many states have primary elections and all of them are limited to voting only for members of one party. If you register as Republican you can only vote in Republican primaries. The same holds true for Democrats. I have no idea what the independants do.

You may be a registered Republican but the person you favor for President is a Democrat. You can't vote for him/her until the General election. By that time they may not even be in the race any longer.

Surely there has to be a better way. Let's hear your solution. I don't know about you but I haven't been pleased with either parties choices for President for several elections. I'm really open for suggestions.

Yesterday we had a customer come into our store. He is a regular but always smells like dirty kitty litter. He smells like cat urine and cat excrement. It is very offensive. We even had an employee vomit from being in his presence too long, that is how bad he smells. Do you think that it should be the law that people are to exersice proper hygine before entering the public, just like they have to wear shoes and shirts? Do you think it would be appropriate for us to tell the man that his scent is very offensive? What is your opinion?

I'm thinking if Bush just crowns himself like Napolen then he could have all the Blues put in Gitmoesque camps.

More to the point, he wishes a thousand Mogadishu for our soldiers in Iraq. Does anyone believe these "Liberals", in essence, these neo-libs because of their free market support, does anyone really think these Demoncrats support our troops? This is one of their own, cloistered in his Ivory Tower, twisting the mind of the rich bourgeoisie who attend these so called 'universities'...

De Genova represents the true mindset of the Liberal Elite.

I especially like the fact they they all trained to become pilots across the street from the NSA. What's additionally amusing is the Bin Laden confession tape. Here we have an actor that looks and acts nothing like Bin Laden. A person who was obviously hired and made the big mistake of wearing jewelry and writing a note with his right hand. Who directed this video tape? George
Bush himself? And who was the actor dressed up trying to look like Bin Laden? Dick Cheney? LMAO...give me a break already!

Democrats or Republicans or Neo cons who either somehow got special treatment so that they wouldn't be drafted for combat in Vietnam war &/or have no combat experience whatsoever?

Should any of them be allowed to decide the fates of US troops in Iraq? Why not only allow Democrats & Republicans (in DC) who have actually served in COMBAT, decide what should be done w/ US troops in Iraq?

If you disagree please tell me who would be more qualified? Bush the former Yale Cheerleader who had his daddy keep him from serving in combat in Vietnam?

And how come no airplane parts...engines..landing gear...or bodies were found? How come the FBI confiscated all the nearby video tapes from across the street and threatened the people to shut up?

What if your grandfather died and you discovered afterwards that an employer owed him money. But never paid up. The owner of that company died, but his company is being run by his family. Would you have the grounds to sue for the money that was owed to my grandfather?

I think this is all on him now, because he can't still be getting bad intelligence from his people unless they want to make him look bad. Believe me it's working, even though he's a lame duck prez he shouldn't take down the rest of the party with him. Sooner or later these guys are going to start cutting attachments to him, doesn't he realize this?

Why? Well, I was listening to one on the news the other day, someone who won't ever be President, and I thought of how I *always* like what that senator has to say.

OK, here are the ground rules... first rule is the most important (hence the longest):

1) NO candidates for President, please
--- Here's your chance to show that you have depth and savvy and are not just a slave to the pol-as-celebrity media circus and the publicity machines.
--- Besides, it would be boring to read "McCain", "Clinton", and "Obama" over and over again.

2) Current senators only - Alan Simpson and George Mitchell might have been fun in their day, but we're in 2007.

3) Just list name, state, party, and the reason for your answer.

4) Just worry about your OWN answer - demerits for attacking someone else's favorite.

BEST ANSWERS will be those that make a POSITIVE statement - after all, you're saying who's YOUR favorite.

The USA, beofre the "war on terror" spent about as much on military as the rest of the world combined spent on their thousand or so militaries.

That considered, What SHOULD we spend on military...TWICE as much as the rest of the world combined? Half as much? Are there better things to spend that money on? Will spending more get better results? Are there more strategic ways to achieve our "defense" goals?
Points to best supported, best thought out answer.
