I have been on prob. for 5 yrs. and am scheduled to terminate this April 2007. Here's my problem: I still owe a considerable amount of restitution. I've completed my community service, complied with all other requirements, etc. My PO says the court MIGHT extend it but she can't guarantee it. What are the possibilities that it will be extended? I'm scheduled to back to see PO on the 2nd of March to find out if I've been granted an extension. I usually don't have my reg. appts. until the last week of the month so I need peace of mind I guess. Why would she be calling me in if they aren't going to extend it? She said there'd be papers to sign.
Thanks so much!

In class, we were talking about how in Argentina in the 80s a lot of people the 'desaparecidos' were taken because they were suspected of being leftist terrorists. the problem is that the hysteria got out of control and for the smallest thing you could be sspected. do you think that in this day and age, with enough hysteria that this could happen in the U.S? After all, we had the Japanese internment camp in the 40s, do you think we could ever be like that again? Why or why not?

I suspect the executor of an estate I am beneficary of has squandered cash. Its been over a year since the 'death' and the estate has not progressed much. A few filings with the City, a prepaid tax bill and NO INVENTORY. What are my options as a beneficiary? How long do I have to contest the will. NO, a LAWYER is not the executor.

Since Hilary is now on Y!A I am conducting a poll to see how many people think she should move to France. If we get the majority then maybe she will go. She is so crazy obsessed with changing her views based on polls.

If the answer is "yes" are you in favor of the gov't making choices regarding your body?

For example: Migraine sufferers have to wait 6 months (or longer) before they can get a CAT scan. (unless they can afford it and pay for their own--too bad for the folks who depend on national healthcare).

After parking in a business parking lot, police put search lights on my son after he exited the car and told him he was being stopped because of no seatbelt use (which was a lie). They automatically go around you when motor starts. To make a long story short, they kept him over night in jail and released him. They also drove my car off the lot to the police station after refusing to let his licensed girlfriend take the car home. Under what circumstances can cops do this as opposed to having car towed by towing company after refusing to let her drive it back home?

Should England, France, Germany, The Neterlands, etc. start deporting Muslims who cause trouble?

Recently, The Netherlands produced a video that all prospective immigrants must view before they will be allowed to live there. The video graphically describes life there so that Muslims have no excuse to protest the government with demands that it change to suit them.

Last year, Muslims in England held protest signs that should have gotten them thrown in jail or deported. Besides merely troubling signs like, "Freedom Go To Hell", there were much worse: "Europe Your 9/11 is on its way" and "Massacre those who insult Islam".

We all know the problems Germany and France have had with their Muslim populations.

So, if these people will not respect their host countries, why not just deport them?

Yesterday my husband totaled my car and he received 2 citations, one for careless driving and one for no proof of insurance because there was none...and again I don't need no insuarnce lectures, we have our reasons and are kicking ourselves enough as it is. This is the story..My husband was driving on the highway in the middle of 3 lanes, he switched to the far left lane while and SUV pulled along side of him to the right, he lost control and hit the SUV on the right but when he corrected...he over corrected and swerved back over to the SUV which then spun him around 360 degrees, once he stopped spinning he was facing in the correct ddirection to drive and was moving forward when a School Bus then hit him from behind. I arrived to the scene to find that the bus driver was rushed to the hospital because of pain to the neck and back. I saw no indication on the road (skid marks) of where the bus driver tried to stop from hitting my husband. My car is totaled and damagae is (continued)
