Iraq was no threat? What planet have YOU been living on for the past 20 years, or are you just a product of the brainwashing the mainstream liberal media is attempting? Let me dispel a few rumors before they fester into facts: For starters, the intel Dubya relied upon as a basis to start the war was not wrong. We DID find stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and we DID find more proof that Saddam used them against Shiite Muslims in his own country (you won't hear that from the Clinton News Network or the Communist Broadcasting Service, but you WILL hear that from the soldiers who have actually BEEN to Iraq and have actually SEEN the WMDs with their own eyes). You may also be interested to know that over 300 al-Qaeda operatives have been captured or killed in Iraq since the war started (yet another fact the mainstream liberal media has been criminally negligent in failing to report). Finally, the vast majority of the Iraqi people are GLAD that the U.S. troops are there because they know the factional fighting would be worse if we were not there, and as a result the number of innocent Iraqis being killed would be much greater -- P.S.: Al Franken and Janaene Garofalo are flat-out LYING to the American people. The number of Iraqi casualties (not soldiers, innocent civilians) being spewed out on Air America is GROSSLY inflated, and if you were to ask they would be forced to admit that their numbers are estimates, NOT ACTUAL FIGURES.
BOTTOM LINE: Iraq was very much a threat to the American people, and we were very much justified in removing Saddam and going in after the WMDs and al-Qaeda terrorists, but the Democrats refuse to acknowledge the threat and will do everything in their power to convince the American people that the war in Iraq can only be considered a failure. Okay, fine; pull the troops out and let's see how long it takes before another terrorist attack on American soil takes place...

Silent death's list of quotes clearly demonstrates that Bush is not the only idiot on the Hill. Every political resident of Washington(Dizzy City) is just as retarded. There is no Honor in this war and it will be recorded as another Vietnam style disaster and defeat.
PS the gassing of the Kurds happened while Saddam was USA's Loyal Ally in the fight against the Evil Ayatollah Khomeini. That was when he got all his USA supplied chemical weapons of mass destruction and all his other USA given military toys.

Do not remember them firing upon U.S. planes in the no fly zone? Or the torture, murder and chemical warfare of INNOCENT people including the Iraqi population including the Kurds and Iranians?
The U.S. has ALWAYS championed the rights of the innocent since our conception. We have made our mistakes, but our intentions have always been noble including Bay of Pigs, Viet Nam, Panama, Europe, Somalia, etc.
Time to get off left thinking soap box and get behind whoever our President may be. We do not have to agree with every decision, but I do not believe no President in our history who sent our troops in harms way did it with less than honorable intentions

If you think Iraq wasn't a threat to us, then you're sadly mistaken.
While it might not have been an immediate threat, there was brewing potential.
Tell me the world isn't a better place with Saddam out of it.

Why was it dishonorable to go into a country that was a threat to the US, our allies and the entire region???? Do not fall for the Liberal propaganda crap about the war. Nations do not go to war ONLY with contries that directly attacked it. We were NOT attacked by Germany in WW1 or WW2 yet we were in both wars. Think about it....

Tell you what, talk to our troops, then, and only then can you talk about honor. They will show you what that word actually means. if you are not fighting, and defending our country, you have no room to talk.
