Thank You--been saying it for years. These "social programs" are nothing more than band-aids. Most of them are about handouts and do nothing to help a minority person to better himself or herself. Liberal democrats want to keep minorities dependent so they can get their votes. And racist groups like the Black Caucus go along with this crap and tell their people how to vote and anyone who votes different is an uncle tom.

There's an old saying: How're ya gonna hep 'em if ya cain't keep 'em down on the farm?

If the Weak Sisters really helped African-Americans (like, for instance, fixing their schools!!!) they, like most folks with more than two nickels to rub together, would start joining the common sense party (aka Republicans). Now, where would THAT leave the Weak Sisters? So, you see, the Weak Sisters continue to act in their own best interests (big surprise there, right?).

I've always thought that social programs designed to give blacks and womens a "leg up" are essentially keeping them down by spreading the image that they can't do it themselves.
