The alcohol fuel derived from corn gives our farmers jobs and the people better fuel. It has been proven that no major modification is needed for our cars to accept the new fuel.
It will also release our addiction to the petroleum we get from the middle east. I'm sure im not the only one who knows the war over there is all about oil.
Why can't we make the switch NOW?

i saw a question in this catagory about if texas became independant so i thought i would ask this question in this catagory.
is texas a nation within a nation? because i have met texans who have said their country is texas and texas was once a independant country.
i thought maybe texas was a nation within a nation, because the uk is made up of nations like england,scotland and wales and they are nations within a nation so is texas the same but a unoifical nation state within the united states?

The 2006 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), launched by Transparency International (TI), shows that Finland, Iceland and New Zealand are the least-corrupt countries to do business in, but that the US is among those with a significant worsening in perceived levels of corruption.
With a score of 2.8 on a scale of zero to 10, India occupies the 90th rung along with countries like Gambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, Russia and Tanzania in the corruption perception index released on Wednesday. However, India has shown a slight improvement over its 2002 score of 2.1.

I supposedly heard that during mardi gras this year, people are not allowed to have their Americans flags out cause the govt. doesnt want to offend anyone!
Is this true or is it just a rumor!
If I were told not fly mine, I'd go out and buy the BIGGEST AMERICAN FLAG I could find! And would not take it down no matter who tells me to!
Is this really true and if so why? Hell if people are offended by the American flag then they can leave this country!

I was injured at a water park and their claim adjuster wants to offer me a settlement amount. My medical and other total 30K . They want to pay that and an amount for pain and suffering. I have to have a tendon transplant which has some risks involved. I'm not sure what a fair amount would be.

It like this. The proposed budget's call for additional funding for war will be amended with a decree that the funding will be allowed as long as the troops are trained, equipped, and rested per existing law prior to the allocation of funds. When it's put up for a vote--Bush, the Pentagon, and the Defense Department will be forced to do get all their ducks in a row in order to propagate insanity--no way it will happen. Production sharing agreements between the Big Oil Conglomerates are not a justification for War and our soldiers are not supposed to be the pawns for such entities. Is Murtha the man or what?

She was elected US Senator mostly because of her popularity as 1st lady.
What MAJOR accomplishments has she done since becoming a Senator? What ground breaking new bill did she push through the Senate that became US law? Did she take a stand against the fascists Bush and not vote for his invasion of Iraq?
Besides having a famous name thanks to her husband what exactly makes her qualified to be President?

I get all these newsletters from other organizations, a lot of this stuff is trash but some of it is really useful. I wouldn't post it on my site but I would like to post it on some blogs... i mean the people who do worse crimes should get more time in jail/prison than the ones who do smaller crimes that dont even matter. people wanna arrest the ones who barley do anything and the ones they need to worry about they let it go. all sex affenders should get the same time not different times. it dont matter what you did its a crime. druggies should get the same time too. weather its only a small offense o big, its the same thing. and i dont see why some people have to suffer more than others. everything should be fair....
