Japan Time February 10, 2007 issue...in a full page advertisment to thank the Japanese people for 28 years of peace between the two countries it talks about their plan of nuclear power and in the process saying that thousands of Iranians are killed every year from chemical weapons from the west.

During the Iran-Iraq war chemical weapons were used by both sides. Western governments are widely credited with supplying Iraq with the means to make chemical weapons.

It makes very good sense that Iran is making these accusations, and seeking to ally themselves with Japan. Japan is one of the largest (if not the largest) importer of Iranian oil.

I think it could be disputed that people are still dying every year from chemical weapons in Iran, whether or not they were provided to Iraq by western powers or not.

Tyrannical governments need to survive on lies. Keeping the people scared also helps keep the head honchos in power.

When Communism was faltering in the USSR, they accused the U.S. of having manufactured AIDS to kill off Africans.

Fidel has accused the United States of so many wild things, they are too numerous and crazy to enumerate.

The Iranians are no strangers to pulling conclusions straight out of their butts and calling them fact.
