I supposedly heard that during mardi gras this year, people are not allowed to have their Americans flags out cause the govt. doesnt want to offend anyone!
Is this true or is it just a rumor!
If I were told not fly mine, I'd go out and buy the BIGGEST AMERICAN FLAG I could find! And would not take it down no matter who tells me to!
Is this really true and if so why? Hell if people are offended by the American flag then they can leave this country!

This sounds bogus to me. I don't see any other country that does so much under the guise of tolerance. Anyone who is offended by the American flag, and is in the United States, should leave. Are they going to stop singing the national anthem at all sporting events too?

I havent' heard that. Surely not. But its not like they can actually stop anybody from doing it anyway.
Its the American Flag, in America. If people don't like it, tough. I'd hang one across the side of a building lol.

I heard that too. I also heard there will be no more fourth of July celebrations and the Daytona five hundred has been canceled due to excessive, widespread cheating.
