Now that is a laugh. It has been tried over and over and over again and each time it turns into a Stalinist government. When will you people learn that the one leads to another?

The fact is, People are most scared of the name communism than it's culture and foundations. And the other reason, there never been a communist country with good out come, so i don't really believe many would go for com. government.

Well let me say this. Have you ever seen the old show, who wants to marry a millionaire???? Well in a communist gov, the question would be, who wants to marry a guy with a truck load of potatoes. Why??? because your communist gov would not allow you to be a millionaire. There is no chance of advancement under communist rule. So make your choice, amillionaire or a truck load of potatoes???

Communism will never make it,and the reason is that it leaves no place for competition,no matter how hard you work or try to improve yourself,you are no better than the one that does not care to improve himself.China is now begining to get ahead copying the west's capitalistic way,after suffering through their riggid way for years under several communist rulers,even the lowest farmers are now better off than before

Humans are humans and you will never have a successful communist government as long as humans are involved. You may a bit of a chance in a Stepford Wife scenario. I do not want a communist government true or otherwise.

Me. Human nature does not allow the existence of a true Communist form of government. That is why control of the citizenry had to be implemented in any attempt.

I would be and many successful people in the world would be opposed to communism in our USA. Anyone who has lived and succeeded in a capitalist society can fully appreciate earning their own wealth and owning their own property. In true communism, individuals are not permitted to own personal property. All property is owned my the "commune" of the people as a whole. Communism works well for lazy uninspired people who want others to serve them. Communism also works well for dictators who want to control the wealth and spoil themselves and their families and friends while all of the others live in squalor!

Actually, the early Christians did indeed practice true communsim economically, by selling all they had and dividing it as each had a need.
It was also tried by the puritans for a while, but obviously, in true christian fassion, the abandoned it because they wanted to make money rather that do the lords will.
