As a democrat, I can not take his platform of working for the poor and middle class seriously. Not that the rest of them are any better when it comes to relating to the middle class.

Nah, I knew he was an idiot way before that one. he size of his home wasn't the issue and shouldn't be, it's the size of his brain, mouth and feet that makes me nervous. Too easy! No brainer!

No, I always knew he was a sleazy, hypocrite, ambulance-chasing sheister. I have no problem with a wealthy person living the American dream. I have a problem with how he earned his millions (by defending frivolous lawsuits which made OUR health care costs go up). I also have a problem with how he preaches about how WE should be saving the environment, but it's OK for him to wipe out hundreds of trees to build his mansion.

I'd build a big house too if I could afford it, but I'm not out there screaming about global warming and the environment. Get it?

I know it's hard, and i honestly don't know much about him, but my family was dirt poor for the longest time. We just recently inherited a lot of money, and my parents are still democrats - even though that means they have to pay higher taxes.

Think of it as a good thing that he can be wealthy and still care about lower and middle class people (not saying that republicans dont..)

Displays of status are a very very human drive. Why else are we driving huge SUVs and building McMansions? In that respect he is no different from the rest of us. But he came by his wealth the hard way: he worked for it. If he chooses to buld a nice house with it...well, I probably would too. That doesn't diminish his qualifications in my eyes.

He has several large mansions, which massive mansion are you referring to.

I am always amazed that Democrat voters like to vote for mega-millionares for public office..... the party that supported slavery during the Civil War.

Time to leave the plantation people. Think independently and for yourself.

Great question, but edit out that you are a democrat. You may be, but people will assume you are a Republican trolling.
