That is what they did to the Viet Nam vets. Jane Fonda, and Hillary will probably fight to be first in line to make sure their spit hits it's target. You know it blows me away. The anti war nuts will protest our troops fighting to keep us safe but want protest the terrorist trying to murder us all.

If anyone does that, regardless of political stature, then there is serious problem with them. Our troops are doing their job, whether they believe in the war, or not. If people want to protest the war, fine; but I don't see people spitting on tobacco lobbyists because they are against smoking!? Don't take it out on the troops.

The majority of troops now are flown directly into the base. If the base isn't big enough they are flown into a private hanger where NOBODY has access. So if they want to TRY to come onto our base and protest, let them, lol.
I dare Sean Penn or any other protestor to show up here and spit on the troops. The would be slightly outnumber by about 10-1 atleast. lol. Worst case scenario, they stand outside the gate with their little signs and yell stupidity. Thats always fun too!! We've gotten around that though. They have to have a permit to protest and only in a specific area. So the base closes off those gates and redirects traffic, lol. Its hilarious.

Republicans have no realistic political platform, so they must tweek as many nerves as they can find to cause emotional outbursts instead of intellectual discourse.

I live in a major military community, and even our most rabid didn't DARE.
If I *ever* saw that happen, I would end up in jail for kicking someone's ***. And it would be worth the charges.
If you don't respect our troops, you are NOT worthy of the sacrifices that have been made on OUR behalf over the past 230+ years.

Oh, I don't think that is likely, after Vietnam the word has been do it [spit] on one of our own, and you'll need a Bridge, for your teeth, a cast for your arms and plastic for your knees.
No tribunal will convict and a jury will award the service member damages for mental anguish.
