Lots of questions go around in my head, answers are difficult.

I know from my history lessons that Winston Churchill said the Nazi's were a problem for years before WW2, but nobody listened or did anything, and millions died as a result. SH did himself no favours by invading Kuwait.

These leaders were not democrats, but dictators.

The freedom and lifestyle we have got now came at a very high price to our ancestors. Millions died fighting for what we've got now.

What do we do against anti democratic leaders that threaten the rest of the World and what to try to impose themselves on it? Do we through our democratric rulers have anymore rights to impose ourselves?

Do we nip these people in the bud or let them thrive? Do we do nothing because we feel it is not right to interfere, or do we do nothing because we are selfish and frightened? Do we do nothing because we are complacent and over-confident? Do democrats have any more rights than dictators?

Answers are not easy.

Lets re-instate the IRON LADY - Margeret Thatcher as the new president of europe. we need someone with Balls to stand up to the girly french, stinky Germans, and all the former Eastern block countries.

Lets get our newly formed conscript armies (see other questions) to march on Paris, Berlin and Brussels. Its 25 years since the Falklands, so for a special anniversary, we are going to invade Argentina too.

Come on Maggie, show these wussies how its done!!!

MAGGIE MAGGIE MAGGIE for EU president.

Recently my fiancee and I were kicked out of food city for ''Criminal Trespassing''. They wouldnt tell us why they were banning us. I think my fiancee's ex girlfriend, who works there, told her manager that we made her feel ''unsafe''. for whatever reason. I was unaware that when I shopped I made other people feel unsafe.

"One of the reasons why I never lost [even] a single battle was that I never was crazed by a victory that I have scored; in fact, I would envy my foe whom I have defeated and would try thinking what would he do to learn from his mistakes. Put yourself in your opponent's conditions before considering your palns. Make your victories increase your prudence and let people's admiration of you increase your modesty...and let the enemes' fright from you augment both; your prudence and modesty."

Gore's Night of Drugs and Cheating
Commentary by Phil Valentine / November 3, 2000

The morning after the George W. Bush/DUI story broke, I received an e-mail from someone with a story to tell about Al Gore. I must tell you that hardly a day goes by that I don't receive some tip on the VP's murky past. I have been very careful to pick and choose which leads to follow and which ones to leave alone. When John Warnecke, Al Gore's best friend at The Tennessean newspaper, called me with two sources who said they supplied Gore with drugs while in Congress and the U.S. Senate, I determined that to be newsworthy. Countless other stories of past indiscretions I have left alone. To me, if these accusations either don't reflect on his character, don't contradict something he's said or don't follow a pattern, I don't deem them newsworthy. The story you're about to read met all three criteria.

Ray Hudson was once a member of a notorious motorcycle gang called the Death Angels. One of their more famous members was David Allan Coe, who went on to stardom as a singer. Hudson recounted for me a story of Al Gore, then a reporter for The Tennessean, approaching the gang about doing a feature story for the paper. They invited him over to hang out with them at their clubhouse. He told me that Gore smoked marijuana with the gang, drank a lot of alcohol, even fired a pistol inside the house. Since so many people in the national press have discounted John Warnecke's story of Gore's drug use for lack of another witness, I was eager to substantiate his claim. What he told me next opened up a whole new dimension to Al Gore's past, something I had heard before but didn't believe for lack of a pattern. Hudson told me that Gore was given one of the biker girls and shown to a private room in the house. He didn't come out for hours. Now, no one else was in the room with the two of them but I can say with a comfortable degree of certainty that Al wasn't giving her a dissertation on global warming. This took place 18 months AFTER Al and Tipper Gore were married. If, in fact, Gore does suffer from a distilled strain of Clintonitis, I believe it is cause for alarm.

I chose to go public with this interview because, unlike Frank Sutherland, editor of the Tennessean, who recently told a gathering that the public doesn't have a right to know, I believe you do. Barring some breach of national security, I believe you have a right to know what kind of people you're electing to office. This story may never make it past this page you're reading but I would be derelict in my duties if I did not let you know.

I was fired from my job 5 months ago. The employer did not respond to the telephone hearing and I was granted unemployment. As if being let go wasn't enough, now, the employer wants to appeal and has requested a hearing. I wasn't worried at all because I was fully honest when I had to apply for unemployment. Mysteriously an envelope landed in my mailbox (not postmarked) with a document stating that I voluntarily resigned my position, a complete lie. Another document in the mailbox was a statement of why I was let go which was never given to me nor was it ever explained to me nor did I ever have any knowledge of any of the reasons stated. Actually, the reason I was given for being let go was not even on the document. The document was a complete set of outright lies. (Funny the documents were not run through the postal system) I was never given any discharge papers nor did I ever sign any dismissal papers. A lawyer wants much $$ to help. what do I do?

ok help me out people. the dates the army gave us for my husband's r&r leave (from iraq) was originally scheduled for march 13-april 2 (includes travel time). i fought and worked really hard at my job to get these days off, which i finally did, due to quite a bit of shift trading.
now the army tells my husband that they moved it up two days, so instead he reports for leave on the 11th. he seems to think that i shouldn't worry about me working the 11th or the 12th (i have the 13th and later off) because it will probably take that long to get home. he says it took two days to get over just to kuwaitt from the states, and when his brother came home for leave it took him three days to get back.
from your experience do you think i'd be ok? it is very important to me (and him obviously) that i don't work while he's home (i work super long days and come home dead tired). any input would be great. thank you!

I sometimes wonder were we right to depose Saddam Hussein in Iraq and the Taliban in Afghanistan. What makes us right to forcibly impose our will on these countries. If we were really wanted there, the killings would stop and peace would reign. We are told that only a small faction of terrorists are causing all the problems, it seems hard to believe that so few can stand up to so many and appear to be winning the war which i believe is 4 years old now.
