As an Englishman i find it amazing that the Americans are unable to finish a war,but most Americans seem to have little trouble finishing off a super size big mac and fries,Strange eh?

The bloke obviously needs some serious history lessons.
And it sounds like he should be having a bit more respect for the thousands of American servicemen that have lost their lives defending freedom [ although Vietnam was a big clanger ].
Plus the fact he is probably one of many that is just simply pig sick jealous of America being one of the youngest, yet at the same time being the most powerful country on Earth.

ill admit that the A bomb on hiroshima and nagasaki finished the war in the pacific, but the war in Europe was over and done with months before thanks in no small part too the russians, the french resistance and the Allied powers Not just the Americans!!!!
Was there any need to go into Vietnam?? (which was a french Colony, when they saw the strength of the Vietcong they left sharpish!!) were the yanks trying to protect the worlds rice supply???
Why Did we have to go into Iraq?? thousands of allied soldiers have died and are still being killed (sometimes by friendly forces eh Uncle Sam??) two A10's and a line of moving British tanks Spring to mind.
We may need to get out teeth bleached but you yanks need to lose some serious weight and get an Education!!!!

The wars that are being fought today and for the last 40 years or so are not in any way conventional. Therefore there is no way to tell the enemy from innocent civilians - Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq - since they wear no uniforms. Surely you would not suggest that everyone should be shot - be they innocent or not.
These type wars are not really won on the battlefield with weapons but in the minds of men where reason and education should be the weapons. Unfortunately, many of the ones who hate and fight America are the poor and brainwashed who have no other weapons at hand.

right you are mate? yes, who won WWII? it was the British Navy.
I get your drift and laugh as the truth hurts but I think you are a little hard on us Yanks. If it had not been for all that SPAM that we sent the Russians (plus help them mount a second front_) the Russians would have not defeated the Nazi war machine. I got to give the Russians credit. The last battle of Berlin the Russians took tremendous losses just to get to Berlin before the allies. That took a lot of blood and Red Russian guts.
Patton and Eisenhower helped a little but they had a lot of help from UK and the free French.
But you blokes have a habit for getting into a jam and having Uncle Sam bail your butt out of WW! and WW!!...plus the Yanks did service a lot of your ladies when they were visiting your fair country. Look at all the Yank babies we left behind..lol. We are over fed, over sexed and over here..LOL just kidding Have a nice Day Tommy

but America did not finish..
a. Vietnam
b. Korea
c. will not win in Iraq with out the Brits...(will not win at all if ask me anyway.)
i think Americans should stop saying they won the civil war as you were fighting yourself so it dont count..

I loved american super size big mac at least I get my money value out of it unlike other calling their thing big mac but it seems air mac.

I am an Asian and the last time I checked the British in S E Asia were whupped by the Japanese Army in a matter of weeks - is that how you fellas finish wars?

America is home to drive-through culture.
This means their patience doesn't stretch that far whenever they encounter problems or setbacks in foreign policy.
The result being if they get bogged-down in what they're trying to achieve, as in Vietnam and Korea, they have a tendency to throw their toys out of the pram and give up.
It's the same with sex: they like it to be all over in 5 minutes.
It's a shame really.
