she's such a b*tch to people she doesn't like, but a judge isn't supposed to take sides. For example, if she had a drugged out looking defendant, and a clean, well dressed prosecutor, she would be a total beeyotch to the defendant, and treat the prosecutor kindly. That isn't right. A judge of all people should know that you can't judge a book by its cover. BOTH sides should be treated equally, and with respect. Am I right or wrong?

I read a horrible news story yesterday- A vet that fought in Iraq was so depressed traumatized and emotionally hurt, he tried to get help from the VA for his emotional trauma- but was told he was on a waiting list- The vet couldnt wait, and killed himself.

WHY was he on a waiting list to be helped??

Of the billions of dollars being blown on Iraq, what percenatge is being spent to help the soldiers who come back? I stongly oppose this war, but do feel the vets deserve top notch care, and millions dollars should be spent to make sure all vets get full treatement for any physical or emotional injuries.

Has Bush fullfilled his promice at taking care of the vets that came back from Iraq, or has he turned his back on them?

In having the soldiers serve multiple tours, its almost as if they are regarded little more than cannon fodder. They deserve better....

I have been asking this question for a long time, and I thought I would give it another shot.

We now let sex offenders out of prison on parole, often WAY before their sentence is up. In fact, a judge recently gave a sex offender parole, and didn't even send him to jail!

The question is, is there ONE good reason they should be let out of jail? One I have heard is that we should "give them another chance". But shouldn't we ask the parents of a child who has gotten molested by a repeat offender if they think we should give them another chance?

Isn't ONE child (or woman) molested by a repeat offender too many? Is it worth the extra money associated with arresting these people more than once? Wouldn't our country be a LOT safer if, once you were convicted of a sex offense, you were in jail FOREVER?

Of course, I am not talking about statutory rape, like a 19 year old sleeping with a 16 year old, WITH CONSENT. These should be treated separately.

I think this two countries should send more troups, may be Spain and Italy should suport my proposal also. If these countries are our allies - please give us a break - lets bring our boys home - and send theirs. Then it will be proven they are our real allies. I am not talking about 1000 here and 500 there - I am talking about these 20,000 additonal troops we are sending. Your constructive opinions are welcome. Peace be fallen on us....not war.

Below is an excerpt from a short contract allowing a radio show to play an artists music on their show. I’ve changed the name of the radio show. “X Radio” is just used for example. Should the artist agree to the terms in this excerpt or should they request that it be reworded. In other words, does the radio show get any rights to the music or is this a safe clause for the artist. If the artist should ask for it to be reworded, how so?

EXCERPT:
Artist does hereby acknowledge that X Radio is the sole owner of all rights in and to the Program, and the recording thereof, for all purposes; and that X Radio has the right, among other things, to broadcast the Program one or more times over any station or cable system. Any materials relating to the production and broadcast of the Program become property of X Radio.

Hi...
I was recently pulled over for an unsafe turn (drove across two lanes of traffic and stopped in the middle turn lane, waiting to merge) and issued a citation. The officer explained to me that "part of your front right tire crossed over the line into the other lane." This is the first traffic ticket I have received in 16 years of driving, because "part of my tire" crossed a line. I am not sure of the exact definition of an unsafe turn, but I want to fight this one. The officer was clearly either having a bad day or just not a nice person but, especially given my driving record, I feel he was being extremely picky. Can anyone define an unsafe turn for me? Is this worth fighting? Because I really want to.... Maybe I'm just being presumptious and completely deserve the ticket, but either way I'd like to hear it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am a single mom who works fulltime. When I was hired, I was hired into a Sales Position that did not require travel. I had told my boss of my situation with a young son and he understood. Now the company is calling for a nationwide Sales Meeting out of state for 5 days. They say "all Sales Managers are required to be there". Well, I can't leave my son for 5 days. He is only 20 mos old and I also do not have any living family to help me watch him. I will not just leave him with anyone either. Yes, I could pay for a live-in Nanny during this time, but that is very expensive and I do not think the company would reimburse this.

Does anyone know the law in a case such as this? Can you get fired because you can't provide childcare in order to travel? Honestly, even if I put up the exhorbitant amount of money for a live-in Nanny for the week, I still would not feel comfortable leaving him that long. What if he gets hurt or gets sick, which has happened several times already.

Many conservatives send kids to private schools for their indoctrination and those who can not afford it seem to choose home schooling as the alternative . They keep the kids home and fill their heads full of garbage like Columbus was a great explorer when he was a murdering terrorist who killed with his armada millions of natives .
