.....And after you answer that question honestly, what "rational" thought process motivates so many Americans to side with their own enemies, people that live to condemn Americans and chant "Death To The USA" ?

I support Obama in the election as I feel he is the best possibility of brining about change in a government that is corrupt and no longer listens to the people. The main complaint I have heard about him is that he is inexperienced. I realize he has only been in the Senate for two years, but my question is: Is that a bad thing? I would much rather have him than someone who has been in Washington for years and plays the same games we are currently playing. Partisan politics is crap. It is about time leaders on both sides of the aisle are held responsible for wasting our time.

Under the "Action Alerts" on the CAIR website, there is a link which opens up on their website and has the job listing of Whitehouse Interniship, which then in turn links to apply for a position.

Am I the only person who finds this very, very odd?

If I heard it right; Barack Obama was a former Muslim but is now a Christian. This means he would have some knowledge about Islam and that could be a big help in foreign relations. Sense not very many people in our government seem to know much about Islam, I think that as far as foreign relations are concerned, he would be the best democratic canidate. Because I think its gonna take someone who has knowledge about Islam to help convince these radicals to quit killing innocent people.

Rudy Guiliani is considered a Republican, yet maintains several moral views associated with liberals -- he is pro-choice, supports same sex marriage, and supports embryonic stem cell research. He says he is a Roman Catholic, but judging by his moral views, he clearly violates the views of the church.
Therefore - If Guliani becomes the Republican candidate for President, and you are a conservative who usually votes Republican, how would you vote?

I mean Elie Wiesel was attacked while trying to get to the airport by a denyer and he asked all sorts of questions about his time in Auschwitz, hasn't the poor man gone through enough already? We really need to be telling and retelling the history of WW11 so as to not let it disappear, in my opinion. What do you think?

I'm curious. Tell me why Bush's ineffective Presidency is acceptable to you... without saying the words "Bill Clinton" or any form thereof.

I challenge you.

I am interested in politics. My problem is that everyone has an opinion and I prefer to form my own. Where can I get real unbiased information about current affairs, presidential candidates, the war, etc. I've tried Glenn Beck and FOX News, but I still feel like they are giving more than facts. Do you know a good honest place to get real info?
