Rudy Guiliani is considered a Republican, yet maintains several moral views associated with liberals -- he is pro-choice, supports same sex marriage, and supports embryonic stem cell research. He says he is a Roman Catholic, but judging by his moral views, he clearly violates the views of the church.
Therefore - If Guliani becomes the Republican candidate for President, and you are a conservative who usually votes Republican, how would you vote?

While he supports gay rights, he does not support same sex marriages. After his divorce from his second wife, he lived with a couple of gay friends for a short period of time. Truthfully, Rudy is still basking in the post 911 glow. So, I don't know. In New York, he cut taxes 23 times, reformed welfare, and cut crime. Those are pretty tall boots. But...He gives vague statements like " We've got to get past Iraq". What exactly does that mean? The problem with Rudy is most of us don't know he stands on social issues either.... but once people find out, it very well could kill his candidacy.

I guess it would depend on who wins the Democrat nomination. There are some conservative Democrats (that don't have a chance anyway) I'd vote for. Most likely, I will cast my presidential ballot for a Libertarian or Constitutionalist if Rudy, McCain, Romney, Hunter, or Brownback are the nominee. The only one on either side I even like right now is Tom Tancredo.

I would not vote for a Republican regardless of who it is, as having visited Y!A many times, and reading the replies and questions of those who self-identify as Conservatives and/or Republicans leave me feeling generally morally repulsed quite often. I do not want a victory of someone like that on my conscience. I frequently voted a split ticket in earlier elections.
That being said, I think there are worse candidates than Guiliani, and if he won, we would at least be better off than we are now (although an improvement from our current President is an easy thing to accomplish).

"toddler murderers" is that what you call ppl who have self assurance a woman has the suited to do despite she needs together with her physique? how approximately utilising professional-determination! in any case i do no longer think of Rudy Guiliani gets the nomination, he's a reasonable Republican(a minimum of i think of so) and Republicans probably prefer a conservative no longer a reasonable. Obama, Clinton, Guliani and McCain all media favorites will quickly chew the airborne dirt and dirt..

He is not for same sex marriage, he believes in co-habitation rights for all.
As for abortion he believes if the life of the mother is endangered it should be legal and it would be immoral to abort after the first tri-mester.
I am against abortion and same sex marriage. I will vote for him if he is on the republican ticket.
Though I will most definitley vote for McCain in the primaries. If he was president over the last eight years Gore and Kerry would have lost in landslides.

I'd vote for Borack before I'd vote for Guliani. I'm non-partisan, but I tend to have more Republican views. I couldn't really trust Rudy to run the country.

Giuliani. When you are left with only evils to choose from, you choose the lesser; and Rudy is far superior to anyone the left has to offer.

Yes i would vote for him. If better then the Communist\Democrat party.
There are something i can deal with. But changing our form of government is not. And democrats seem to be in pace to become for communist.
Is better to vote for a USA loving RINO then a USA Hating democrat.
