Why am I not surprised that only in the US could someone come up with an idea to use an indiscriminate and evil weapon that would murder far more innocent civillians (esp. women and children) than soldiers, and think it an OK idea?
If the US used a nuclear weapon, especially against countries that are no threat to it, not only would they face the anger of the entire world, including its allies, but the chances are that other countries with nuclear capabilites would strike back at the US (e.g. China).
The only way forwards is for diplomacy and reason, not the wild unsubstantiated accusations and sabre rattling we're hearing from the White House.

North Korea will come around.
Iran stands a good chance of getting nuked if their nuclear weapons program actually produces anything. The odds of the psychos in charge there using them is just that high.

Did you know the US is the only country to use a nuclear device in a war? And we're still apologizing for using it to win the war and eliminating probably 1,000,000 more war casualties (the estimate given if we had invaded Japan).
Ever wondered WHY the arabs hate us?
You need to read more. Not just the blogs and NY Times, but real news, and the occasional book. You can't form a GOOD opinion unless you know both sides of the arguement.

Iran yes. I think if we nuke them now the Koreans will fall into line. We're already shooting up Iraq and Afgahnistan, Pakistan has nukes so a little fall out shouldn't bother them.
As a practical matter the proximity of South Korea, and China make a nuke strike of North Korea a bad idea.

Well, it would be the easy way out. But one thing we are forgetting is, the government's actions in those countries don't always represent the people. So why take it out on the people? Besides, this would just be another thing to blame Bush for. Plus he would be committing crimes against humanity.

I cannot justify the murder of millions for the sake of killing 10% of their population.
