We are kind of in a war right now, in Iraq. Ramos and Compean is not on the top of the priority list.

If they need a presidential pardon why blame Democrats? Its not like they have some kind of pull with the boss. In fact maybe keeping quiet is the best thing they can do considering if they took that case to the Prez he'd label it liberals trying to subvert Justice and the law. Could be the Republicans have got to actually take a stand, in public about this, and not just one or two of them but all of them should stand up to George about this one.
Hes not going to listen to a bunch of Democrats.
RobD, he won't even listen to Democrats let alone pander to them. Could it be your hero may have feet of clay? All on his own?

Bush is walking yet another tightrope with this one. It's a shame he can't show the moral integrity on this issue that he's shown concerning Iraq. Hopefully, he'll spend these last two years doing what's right and not pandering any more to liberals.

Because some of us still believe in the judicial process and don't want politicians to hold some indefifnitly without charge, and let others go without having to answer for their crimes. That's why. But nice of you to put a little bit of blame on Bush...afterall, isn't he the one who could do the actual pardoning?

ok dude the border patrol agents were wrong(their actions) but they shouldn't have been put in jail! But if Bush wanted to pardon them he would've already done it. AND the Dems probably dont care. OH watch Lou Dobhs (CNN)he talks about this issue all the damn time!
