Yes I like the fact that he is able to admit that he has made bad decisions and indulged in self-destructive/indulgent behavior that he had the resolve and intelligence to identify and defeat.

It makes him a fore-runner for my vote which was actually leaning toward Hillary based on what she did with our economy last time she was in office... :)

I appreciate his sincerity and hold no reservations that he would repeat the behavior he admitted to.
He's a really genuine guy and he has alot of good ideas. Hopefully he'll get a chance to show us what he can do. Even though I think the executive branch needs a drastic restructuring and we should definately part from a singular deciding individual for our head of state regardless or checks and balances.

YES! It matters , very very mucho! As a presidential candidate he is a role model for young people , there fore this drug use is a no ,no! Iam also questioning his inmaturity , his lack of vision and his indesision of his race! I like his name it sounds poetic , but I will not vote for him for any office! Because you see to hold an office of such a powerfull country , by nessesity the candidate must be the BEST! This candidate will deal with the world affairs , the country itself , he cannot be mediocre, I dont mean to say Obama is ,on the contrary I find him an intelligent young man , but not for the presidents office!

No more than it did to me when Bush abused alcohol and used cocaine, or when Clinton used marijuana. I am much more intereseted in what they've become as adults, in their policies, in their current actions, than some stupid thing from years past. I want to elect a candidate becasue he will benefit our nation as it stands right now, than to worry about something like that from how many years ago. I think the arguments about things long past are best left there.

No, Bush admitted to cocaine use. It was years ago and he had the strength to pull himself out of it. There are not many people in the world today that did not do drugs at some point in their lives.

No. The reason is that the other politicians do the same thing and then lie. I'd prefer someone who tells the truth and I think I have plenty of company among other Americans. Telling the truth is probably why Obama is doing so well. At least we know what we are getting.

I don't believe that he has admitted any such thing. On the other hand, George Bush has lied about both his cocaine use and his alcohol abuse. But you voted for the shrub anyway, didn't you?
