Just curious... Answer anonymously if you'd like (create a new profile). I'd like to know if race is still a barrier in the USA. If OTHER reasons would stop you from voting for him, please post. Thanks!

for haliburton and weapons industry sure.....but not for average americans. consider the cost of the military, R&D, training, hardware, and then the treatment of wounded.....

if it is so lopsided, how do americans justify this need for war, when its a small percentage that benefits?

(Economically, China is considered a self sustained economy, meaning without US trade they'll be just ok. Trade with US make them them hold unused billions of USD reserves, i.e. USD value in their hands)

China proves that they are capable of destroying satelites, as small as that 3 feet width thing.

Without satelites, US military functions might not be that effective. It will be more like WW2. Historically, (with the exceptions of Iraq and Afghanistan which US relied too much on Satelites technology) US failed on ground battles, Vietnam or WW2 with the Japanese. US clearly won that WW2 because of using the then WMD, the atomic bomb.

In WW3, powerful countries like Germany & Rusia might back up China. Not to mention others like Iran & Syria. ( N. Korea might not be on either sides, but given a choice, they'll target US more than others.)

3 Easy Steps!
1: Pull our troops and anyone else we really like out of Iraq.
2: Nuke Iraq. A lot. Heck, let's test those bunker busters!
3: The ensuing Nuclear Winter will counteract the effects of Global Warming. If we use enough nukes, we might even get colder!

Okay, so maybe the third one isn't really a step, but a '3 Step Path to Success' sounds cooler than 2.

Who's gonna do their jobs in the states of New York and Illinois respectively while they spend the next two years traipsing around the country in search of a "better" one while neglecting to finish the ones they were recently elected to do? That right there is reason enough for me not to vote for either one of 'em. Afterall, if they can't or won't finish the jobs they currently hold, what makes anyone think they'll "finish" the job of the presidency if they happen to get it? I'm sorry, but I've never known anyone who's employer would allow them "time off" to search for another job while on "company time", thereby shirking their duties and forcing other "employees" to cover for them. What employer would put up with that, anyway?

The Jet engine(s) found may be key to identifying what type of aircraft hit the Pentagon. Both the jet engine housing as well as a "front end rotor head" have been identified as belonging to a Pratt & Whitney JT8D jet engine. The P&W JT8D engine has been used on the smaller Boeing 727 as well as a retrofit for the A-3 Skywarior. Two P&W JT8D's do not provide enough thrust to get a Boeing 757 off the ground much less sufficient power to perform the military precision maneuvers the aircraft in question did.

I was shopping at the nugget market grocery store a few days ago and was caught shoplifting. They have me on camera putting something in my bag. I dont shoplift! It is a long story, but I was called into the back by the security guard and they made me sign some form and took my photo after I had paid for a variety of items and walked to my car. no police were called and they just told me to pay a fine and send the check to some service dept. They asked for my addie and my SS# as well and said it would stay confidential as long as I paid? I was extremeley scared and just admitted to stealing eventhough the situation is much more complicated. I sent the money out as well. Will I be called by the police or do i have to worry about appearing in court and having this on my record? I dont want to lose my job. Hopefully it isnt anything to worry about. It is just a really awkward situation. I have never shoplifted in my life.

Witnesses say, the U.S. military secretly had Raytheon Co. refit an A-3 Skywarrior with new jet engines, a missile, and a Global Hawk guidance system, just prior to 9/11. Coincidentally, five key executives of Raytheon Co. went missing on 9/11. The official word is they died in the hijacked planes on 9/11.
