India is not as powerful as America. America has a very dominant military strength. America is a developed country while India is still a developing country. American history shows that they are ruthless while Indians are peaceful. India should concentrate on the development of its own country instead of establishing a dominant position in other countries.

You don't have to check for weapons in the USA because everybody knows that they have plenty of them (nuclear, biologic, chemical and a lot more nasty things). And i don't know whether the remaining resources in the territories occupied by the USA are worth the tough resistance that they might give if you would try to take them away.
But i think that the might of the USA is too much depending on Oil, a resource that will sooner or later be used up. If no replacement is found an offensive military based on air-superiority will be replaced by the sheer number of infantry one can bring in the fight. This could bring an advantage to states like China and India. The USA would most probably change to a more defensive deterrent strategy or an aggresive nuclear-black-mailing strategy.

America is checking for Oil and not for weapons in Iraq. And nobody can check N. Korea now. They are nuclear power.

The first thing is why are you suggesting that we should BLINDLY FOLLOW what US does. Anyways, India isn't as developed as US is. The budget of ours isn't as much as that of US. One suggestion from me: Why not make our own weapons?????
