obama, clinton, edwards, and rumsfield are all planning on running but i don't know what their plans are. the first three are democrats, but what does that mean?and rumsfeild is republican and seems like he would be a democrat. what are they're plans? are they for the war or against the war? who is the least liberal? who is the most? am i missing anything? the newspaper is confusing. i need this information simply and clearly layed out for me.

It's a little too far out to start researching now. The parties have to elect their front runners, who will actually compete for the Presidency. So even if you like one candidate he or she may not get nominated by their party to run for office.

If you really want answers as to where they stand on key issues then I would begin my research on CNN if I were you. They have a comprehensive, UNBIASED website. Very informative.

Try Wikipedia also for the candidates' backgrounds.

has nothing to do with what they stand for but what "we the people" stand for..........than that person in office will stand with the people..........if not.........we the people kicks his or her a!! out!
