Chumpchange, I guess foreign influence into domestic politics doesn't mean much to you when that influence agrees with your agenda.

I know Dr O, but I have to admit that I was kinda proud of the way that Obama responded to Howard. Americans should pay attention to him. This little incident showed me that Obama can deal with a foreign leader that steps out of line. Only with words yes, but Howard's remarks and intrustion into our internal politics didn't warrant more than that. I just think that this proves that Obama is not a pushover.

i think Obama responded to the Aussie PM in a professional and courteous manner. It just goes to show you how resilient he is and how he would handle criticism.

No nobody takes any notice of him even the Aussies he is on his way out and we will have Honest Prime Minister not one that is George Bush's puppet. If people think he is popular they are mistaken he is very unpopular in Australia.I think Obama was right in his remarks and don't forget Bush and Howard are personal friends.

He sure is pretty, and he talks so sweetly, but what lays behind the good looks and the silver tongue? I certainly don't know yet, but we have time to figure it out before the primaries. The charm, the words, and the supportive wife doesn't make a president.

No.
Foreign heads of state have very little influence on the average american voter, and most probably have no idea who John Howard is.

No, actually I don't. However, I do think the American people are keeping track of everything that is said and done by the people running for office.

In time, Senator Obabma will be his own worst enemy. He can not win the Presidency if his only platform remains "Can't we all just get along?" He needs to take a stand FOR something and tell us how he can make things better.
