They can never quite explain why we were supporting Hussein in the first place? That we completely ignored the gassing of the kurds in the 80's and probably contributed to it financially?

This question is not meant to be insensitive, but I am wondering why a mere 132 deaths for the UK, and a more significant 3000 deaths for the US is such a media focal point? In previous wars, many countries, the UK, and US included have suffered many, many times that figure of casualties, sometimes in days, and yet there was not the furore then as there is now.
I am not trying to belittle the work of the armed forces, or their efforts, but they knew the job before they signed on (except in the case of conscripts...) , are in the main intelligent people, and they knew that it was not going to be all skydiving and snowboarding like the army adverts would have us believe. Presumably their relatives, knew as well, and yet there are still people touting the deaths of loved ones as Blairs/ Bushs fault. Why? It is the soldiers job to fight. And occassionally, that means people get hurt. I value their sacrifices, but I wish the media would not keep giving us a front page kill count.

How can they? Information comes from Lou Dobbs on CNN, Roy Beck of NumbersUsa.com and William Gheen of alipac.com
Why aren't they trying to help keep their citizens legal and support the USA in enforcing Legal Immigration? Has America become the dumping ground for other countries problems?

Ok - Scientific facts. We know that The Globe is warming. We know that polor icecaps are melting and Ice is breaking up. From Science we know that that the Globe has experience extremes in high temps and lows (ice age) before. We know that CO2 contributes to higher temps. Both natural and man made. The real question is and this is the sticking point is that the world of today how much of the warming effect is natural (earth going threw its own cycle of hot and cold) and how much of it is un-natural?are we (as humans) contributing enough to A. Warming the earth on our own with no natural influence B. enough to cause Global warming in addition to what The Earth is already doing naturally. Or C. The earth is warming up all on its own and the little that we put out really isnt making that much of a difference.
Also remember Scientists said the globe was Cooling 40 years ago and said how this would effect how much Farmers would be able to produce thus causeing a food shortage...sigh

They idolize their un-elected president.

I know of so many females that voted for him simply because they thought he was cute.

They don't think he's cute anymore.

There are still a 22% of stubborn Bush praising Republicans that don't blame him for anything.

If God flashed the truth, about the man, across the sky, they wouldn't change their stubborn minds.

What will it take for them to finally wise up, and realize the man never was cute, and is a menace to world peace?

Beer ads are everywhere and sexual themes are being used explicitly. Don't you think it's too much. For instance, I get very distracted when trying to read a piece of news on Yahoo and this flashy leggy chocolate ad with the lady in underwear moves by.

I supported the war on Iraq based on what we were told about WMD but now I know the truth I believe that Bush and Blair should be tried for war crimes.
If I had known the truth I would never have supported it.
This is not a dig at our soldiers who have my absolute respect for doing a very dangerous job and deserve better than they get.

In 1945 the war in Europe was over. The foul dictator had been removed and the 3rd Reich was eliminated. The US government yeilded to public pressure. Bring our boys home. The war is over, Hitler is gone, our boys have been gone long enough, there is no reason for them to remain. This decision led to the Russian occupation of the countries that formed the communist block! This decision caused the Cold War and the ensuing Arms race. The US governemnt tried to negotiate with the Communists who had their army still in place while our own was now back home. They pretty much laughed at our request that they let these countries choose for themselves what form of government they should have. Again does History mandate that we stay in Iraq?
