I have a written agreement to say she will pay me back so much a month, but she has also borrowed more "off the record" since that was written up. Now she refuses to pay anything. Where do I stand. Can I take legal action?

Within a few years the industry standard will be for all cars to have an immobilizer (chip built into the key making it much more difficult for thieves to steal).

Assuming that that criminals always look for ways to cheat the system and also assuming they will find ways to adapt, will this lead to more high risk crimes like car jackings, home break-ins, etc. and therefore have a negative impact on society in the bigger picture?

Whos fault is it that Bush got two terms? My contard neighbor claims that it's the progressive/liberals because "we couldn't put forth a serious candidate and therefore people had no other choice but to vote for Bush." What do you think and what can I tell this patriotic POS?

She is doing the SAME thing that got John Kerry into hot water.

She was ALL FOR THE WAR when it was politically expedient for her to do so.
NOW - she is against the war and said she was "tricked".
If she was "tricked" - do you liberals STILL think she is the brightest bulb on the chandelier?

What is the most promident thing our military needs to do in Iraq to win the war

Iraq proves many things. One is that the Libertarian ideals of a "free market" and no social programs, privatizing the infrastructure and leaving the land to be governed by those who own it, is all a vast mistake.

This is why Fukayama flip flopped and these people should wake up to the implications of thier beliefs as applied in the US.

Socialism is the People's political belief and you can compare Venezuelan citizen's joy to the misery of free market values applied to Iraqis (misery). You decide.

I have been an outstanding IT employee and been with the same company for 29 years. For the last 5 years a new director has been particularly nonsupportive and basically insulting. This week during a retirement party, in front of a room of people, he gave credit to the retiree for two of my major achievements. People there were amazed and it was basically humiliating to me. Of course, now, everyone wants to know why he would say those things. I cannot believe that after all this time on the job I am embarassed in front of the people I work with. He has had two harassment cases against him. I want to know what's up but know I cannot talk to him without someone with me as he will not be respectful unless he is made to be. What should I do?
