Fort Monmouth NJ is home to high technology facilities that cannot be duplicated for various reasons. Why was Fort Monmouth voted to be closed with relocation of personnel to Aberdeen Proving Grounds when virtually a new base will have to be contstructed..and...it may be impossible to move some facilities?

If your facility is that important, somebody somewhere is gonna have to justify it. The Pentagon must be challenged on these things or everything goes the way of the politicians. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard was spared because it used congress people and actual statistics to back up it's superior record. Perhaps your outfit should have done the same, if it was possible.

The BRAC commission decided that the cost of keeping it open was excessive when compared with the value it represents. It was done by your elected representatives.

I was BRACed in the previous round....they closed Fort McClellan...now what a mess in Missouri
