I received a no insurance ticket in Delaware back in 2000 which I didn't even realize I had.I apparently had a capias entered which I didn't find out about until I tried to get a driver's license back in my home state of Washington.I want to pay the fine and get it taken care of,but on my income to fly back there and stay to take care of it in person would tap any monies I had to pay the ticket with.I have heard that there are state officials you can write to and ask to be excused from court as well as ask to make payment to.Does anyone have any idea who this would be?

Besides the basic form of Financial Aid that the Government offers, are there any other special grants or loans that the Government or any other organization that helps fund people with learning disability with schooling?

I am not asking for a handout from the Government, I will give back to the community when I am able and educated. I just need some money and help to invest in my education.

Anyway, does anybody know where I can get some financial help for school? I was diagnosed by a licensed professional, which I can prove that I have a learning disability.

She claims to want to have "Conversations with America" and that you can email her from her web site, but when you try to do so, it rejects emails from anywhere but New York.

Why is she starting out her campaign by lying? Shouldn't she tell a little bit of truth FIRST and then do the lying later?

"There is no strategy," he [Hagel] said of the Bush administration's war management. "This is a pingpong game with American lives. These young men and women that we put in Anbar province, in Iraq, in Baghdad are not beans; they're real lives. And we better be damn sure we know what we're doing, all of us, before we put 22,000 more Americans into that grinder."

So we can't impeach Bush if he hasn't broken any laws . . . but didn't he take an oath to listen to the will of the people and follow their direction? Doesn't being in violation of this most solemn promise constitute some violation of law?

From Bush's state of the union address:
"Out of chaos in Iraq [upon U.S. troops withdrawal], would emerge an emboldened enemy with new safe havens ... new recruits ... new resources ... and an even greater determination to harm America."

Countries such as Syria have anti-terrorist forces, and it is sheer myth that all the neighboring countries of Iraq support terrorists. The former president of Iran condemned BinLaden. The real truth is there are people in the Middle East who do not support terrorism or a militant form of Islam, but Bush seems more intent on inflating the situation in support of some D-Day mission of the entire Middle East. He says, "nothing is more important at this moment in our history than for America to succeed in the Middle East," he too sounds like some kind of extremist. He insists, "to succeed in Iraq" will "spare the American people from this danger," but that statement is completely unguaranteed and there's no cause & effect relationship between the two.

I asked earlier about ideas for solving the health care problem in the USA. Some one suggested a free national health care program.
Free national health care is not free. Currently, health care cost makes up about 17% of the GNP. Current levels of government spending totals about 7% of the GNP.
A national health care plan would increase government spending to 24% of the GNP. That would require a tax rate 4 times higher than the current rate. That doesn't seem like a sensible solution to me.
Anymore thoughts on the issue?
