In murder cases the man always has to be portrayed as evil. Some states even say that premeditated murder cab be self defence. What's up with that.

Even if they don't get off, they are very unlikely to be given as harsh a sentence, particularly capital punishment. It has been ever thus in the U.S.

When a woman wishes to murder, unfortunately, a sex crime is their best cover. It is a matter of one person's word against another who, if dead, won't say much. That is why so many actual sex crimes tend to be treated dismissively by law enforcement. Too many easy and false reports made in order to harm someone or cover up murder.

I don't know if that's true for big cases like murder. After all, O.J. wasn't a woman. There are statistically more men in prison, so perhaps it just seems like more women are getting off easy because you're not comparing it to the entire population of men who are being prosecuted.

But with traffic violations having boobs and a nice face is definitely behooving. But it depends on your location too. I've gotten tickets in the South just for being a "Yankee"

i don't think society still fully accepts the fact that we are complete bitches sometimes and some can be truly evil. society still has the june cleaver complex which is pathetic. that is why I feel so sorry for the guys who are abused but women, the first thought in most people's minds is what did he do first, what did he do to deserve it, and even worse, so what, how much harm can a woman do? A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT!!!

That is not true in all cases, especially murder. You just see more murder cases with men as the suspect because men commit more murders then women.

I think sometimes people are swayed by gender sterotypes, but some women are crusified. its more female vitims, than perps who are the crusified ones.
but look at Andrea Yates- she was insane during the murders and people still treat her like she's evil. they are mad she is getting the help she needs and a fair sentence

I don't know about serious crimes, but perhaps they were speeding, got pulled over, and all they got was a slap on the wrist and sent home; depending on the cop (if he's a perv), it's probably because she's cute. Oh, big boobs probably help, too.

Because they are pretty.

Look at all the teacher-student sex crimes and how they are being sentenced.

Then come back and tell me about "equality"
