All he does is talk about what we need to. Never says what we are going to do. It bothers me when he says something pointless, and everybody claps, like he is some kind of hero.

1. There is no "new" plan for Iraq.

2. He continues to confound the war in Iraq with the "war" against terrorism.

3. He continues to scare people so they will support a troops buildup in the Middle East.

4. He wants to bomb Iran and any other nation he can get away with while claiming all the people of the Middle East are under oppression because of Islam.

5. He falsly advocated himself as an environmentalist when what he really cares about is not less use of oil but instead to have no restrictions on obtaining domestic supplies of oil (such as in Alaska).

Need I continue? He goes on and on about the same lies in the same manner that divided the nation many years ago. It's good to see one side finally concedes that their hero might be WRONG and filled with not much more than hot air. Too bad the same hero has control of our military.

What do you mean? He mentioned many things that we are GOING to do. He's introduced several new plans and tried uniting both sides to get progress done. Besides, it's not Bush's idea to come up with plans, it's his idea to agree or disagree. The congress is who you should probably be worried about.

Have you been living under a rock the past few days? You don't even consider bringing in more troops a new plan?

Well that's exactly what it is. We're not fighting perfect angels in Iraq, ya know.

How does he scare people? Under your logic Al Gore scares people into thinking they'll be under water if they don't take Global Warming seriously. Gore and Bush simply believe in what they say and truly believe in the threat.

Ugh. How many things are wrong with this statement?

He's never once mentioned war with Iran much less bombing. The President would never agree to bomb an entire country. We have many allies within the country both undercover and groups from within who help our cause.

Please take no offense to this, my friend, however you have some of the most biased, deranged, warped, and unrealistic views of our President than I've seen since watching MSNBC.

It's just a PR job with a good script put together by some clever writers! Words are no good unless put to action testing and succeed in bringing the greatest good for the greatest number within the U.S. population. Can't understand how people can be led to believe in the usefulness and worth of a person based on polls after a mere piece of speech.

I completely disagree with you! I thought it was excellent. No one wants to hear about alll the good things he has done for our economy, etc. You just focus on the war and hating him! Let me ask you a question......back on sept. 11th when the world was in a uproar and afraid of weapons of mass destruction, i'm sure you backed him on the war and if he DID find weapons of mass destruction, he would have been a hero. well, you can have it both ways!

he didn't just say we we NEED to do...he also said what he HAS done and what he is going to do...you need to stop hearing what you want to hear.

let me guess, you want Hillary to run and win for Pres.? Look at her faces yesterday durign the address. How arrogent, immature, and disrespectful.

Seriously, I could not agre more. Lately I can't stand the guy. I hate how we choose one person and put him up on a pedestal and then let him choose whats best for EVERYONE! There should be more than one person as president I would think...Instead we get stuck with a guy who half the country can't stand, and we have to listen to him dictate to us about what we should be doing, instead of hearing about what we really want to hear...duh! There's a war going on that HE supports, but yet he couldn't speak more about that could he?! Its probably because he knew he'd be shot down!

ABSOLUTELY!! And whats more, this mess he's created is so huge that neither party will be able to reel in it. This country is in big trouble just because Bush didn't handle the response to 9/11 properly. Starting a two front war was not the best move he could've made.

It was nothing new for the most part more of the same thing. I am a veteran and i still have several friends in the military and they do as they are ordered but they think its a lost cause and the Iraqi's hate us. Too bad 65 % of our country see this but he doesn't for some reason.
