You have something wrong in your question. No one that I know of thinks Clinton assaulted Somalia. Clinton's failure in Somalia was a failure of omission. He failed to support the peace keepers which were sent there.
Clinton did assault Sudan. He attacked an aspirin factory. But he had to get the news media off of the credible rape allegations. What better way to change the subject?
No, the Democrats are playing partisan politics with the security of the USA and the lives of our servicemen and women. Just like they did in the 70s.

Because terrorism is now a reality. In Clinton's time, how much did we really know about Somalia? He didn't open himself up to criticism - he kept his military actions generally on the hush-hush. Now, we have to be more active and ready to deal with those situations!

we don't. we just state the fact that clintons' actions were ineffective in Somalia. had clinton NOT gutted our intelligence resources on the ground,we might have succeeded in Somalia.
bill clinton managed in a few years to un-do decades of intelligence groundwork which we are STILL PAYING FOR !

nobody ever said clintons assualts were wrong. we said first he shouldnt have tucked his tail and ran, second he shouldnt have bombed an asprine factory and third he shouldnt have cut the military budget and for armour and supplies. I would suggest you find someone that was involved in clintons attacks on somolia and ask them to tell you how bad it was mismanaged.

I don't know. Who said those things? Do you have any examples? Or are you attempting (and failing) to call someone a hypocrite?
