Why would you want to get out? Don't you want to serve your country... or are you to afraid to die... If you want to get out so bad then why the hell did you join in the first place?

Sorry to douse the fun but in my unit there was some that tried some of those plans. This one guy tried to say that he was gay (doing everything in his power to convince others, even getting "married") but the command just said "so what?" The dudes that were failing PT were never kicked out and the guy that was an **** just got the worst assignments. To be honest in war time you need a Court martial to be booted. Many tried and failed.

Well, I dont recommend any of these, because disharge under Other than honorable conditions (OTH) or worse, dishonorable, is a blot on the record that will follow someone for life. That being said, coming out as a homosexual will do it, as will failing a drug screen. Other methods could include becoming overweight or otherwise intentionally failing to meet standards. Getting a tatoo in the wrong place and refusing to have it removed, for instance.

Serve the time you swore to serve and signed a contract for, thats a great way to get a discharge without a court marshal.

Fail PT test. That is the only way and it is going to take some time. He should stick it out but once he starts failing PT test and people know he is trying to get out he will become a dirt bag in people's eyes, so the chance of getting in trouble will double. So, if he is serious, he needs to be serious about it and fail the PT test but as far as work performance has to be spotless because they will try to get him hard.

If you are too much of wimp to serve you time and want to get out, you could try these opitioned-
Fail a few drug tests-you will get a few article 15's, but they will boot you out.
Go AWOL-Everyone things that leads to court martial, but they will just out process you. Stay gone for at least two months and if you are in the Army, report to Ft Sill or Ft Knox for out processing. It takes a week, but one less dirt bag in the Army.
Act crazy. Show up to formation and urinate in front of your NCO's. Act totally insane, they will get rid of you.
I hope you leave the armed forces, since you cannot handle your commitment to them. Remeber, you are going to lose all benefits from the VA and no GI Bill. Those are for service memebers that can hack it and serve their country throughout their commitment.

Serve your time
I've seen guys act gay, hurt themselves, take drugs. None really worked. The best thing I always told other Marines was just do your time, it's the best thing in the long run. No one can stop time. I was a Sgt in the Marine Corps

From what I remember, the quickest and fastest way to get an honorable discharge is to just do the time you have left on your enlistment. Playing b/s games will just get you into trouble.
