Last year, I read Dick Morris' book, "Condi Vs. Hillary", in which he heaped praise on Condi for a lifetime of true achievement, while he relegated Hillary to one of those people whose every action and word is directed at a very self-serving goal. In this case, it is to become President.

It is obvious now that everyone was right about her stint as a New York Senator. Everyone said she would just use it as a stepping stone to get into the White House. Just another Clinton lie.

What do you think about the character of these two women? I am definitely in favor of Condi running for President, and I know that she would be a marvelous advertisement for the United States since foreigners would have a much harder time dredging up the mindless, vitriolic hatred towards a black woman as opposed to a white man (Bush).

In my opinion, Condi is better educated, more experienced, far more likeable, logical and rational than Hillary.

Please keep answers polite.

my boyfirend (a UK citizen) and I have decided we would like to get engaged. I know that it could take a long time to process and receive the fiance visa and we want to set a date for our wedding. If he comes over to see me on a B-2 visa so he can propose and we can start planning the wedding can I apply for the fiance visa while he is still here? He will leave and go back to England at the conclusion of his 6 month stay (on his visitor visa) and not return until he gets his fiance visa. I don't want to wait to apply for the fiance visa until after he leaves because then we run the risk we won't get it in time for the wedding. He won't try to ENTER the US once we have applied for the fiance visa. Is this OK?

In my opinion, state quarters are pretty boring, I can't even think what is on my states quarter. I would like to see our mint honor the fallen men and women of our military by putting their faces on our currency, maybe the quarters, maybe the nickel.
The presidents on that coin gave up a few years in office for their country, but what about the people who were gunned down or jumped on a grenade for their nation?

Okay so my son's father gave me his laptop as mothers day gift last year because my computer was (and still is by the way) falling apart. After a bitter break up he decideds he is taking it back out of anger. He has since sent me an email saying how sorry he was for taking it, and that he wanted to give it back if I still wanted it and mentioned that it was a gift for mothers day and now would be giving it to me again now as a christmas gift. Long story short he never gave it back. It was my understanding that if you give someone a gift by law you are not entitled to it back. I am thinking of going to court to get it back but I just want to make sure I am not wrong before I make an @ss of myself.

Mr. Obama has only two years on the Senate. Will his short history keep him out of the White House?

Or, in todays polical world, is a long voting record actually reason for people to find reasons to dislike or make a candidate look bad?

Tax policies - always hugely in favor of the rich - yeah I save a few a year from Bush, BUT IN THE LONG RUN (and short) IT COSTS US MORE. Local and state taxes going up.

The war, of course, benefits lots of defense contractors.

Prescription drug program - a give a way to Pharm, with little comparative benefit.

Clear Skies, actually allows polluters more leeway. Does nothing for alternative energy, actually quite the opposite - for his buddies in Saudi.

A few examples for the uninformed Bush Lover.

So, are there no redeeming REAL qualities in Bush? Or will I just get more made-up fantasy stuff about how great he is?

A movement of Methodist clergy wants to prevent SMU from taking the Bush library, and it looks like they are going to succeed. They think the university should not be linked to his legacy.

If a Texas Methodist university won't take the library of a Texas Methodist president...who will?

If you're British, do you believe that it was justified?

I often hear that history is written by the winners of wars.

Do you think that history has been exaggerated or do think that most of the facts were correct and it was a just war?

I'm just curious.
