You right-wingers have to understand the following:
(1) If the government spends money (like on some protracted adventure in the Middle East) we will pay for it - one way or another. Not presenting us with the bill is burying your head in the sand.
(2) The most obnoxiously regressive taxes (look it up if you don't know what that means) like the sales tax, are supported by the conservatives.

Democrats, like Clinton, had to follow the fiscally non conservative Republicans who preceded them, and therefore are required to pay the debts Reagan and Bush Sr. incurred while in office. http://www.uuforum.org/deficit.htm If you click on the link you will see the red ink of the Republicans. Whoever follows Bush Jr. will have one hell of a debt to pay off that will last into at least our grandchildren's time. Watch the wealthy Republicans who have made big profits the last six years cry when it comes time to pay the tab. They will get the lions share of the bill - you watch.

They are. Traditionally, they are also for fiscal responsibility, as we now face the biggest federal deficit in US history. If you conducted your personal finances like the Bush administration, you'd be bankrupt, and sleeping in a cardboard box.
