Never really thought about until now and I guess it is.
But do us guys really give a ****?
If a guy is sexist all the women get up in arms. If a women is sexist we don't really bother. It aint worth the nagging and moaning. Womens rights and all that p***!

The USA lost 58,000 young people in Vietnam, lost the war, pulled out and the country is still a communist country. The USA now considers Vietnam a friendly country.

Cuba is also a communist country but no Americans were killed there. If anything, the US sponsored the Bay of Pigs invasion but Cuba has not invaded the USA, flown jets into the towers or anything else except they are not ruled by the USA like so many other countries.

Why is the embargo still on after 25 years? What does it hope to accomplish?

It was 2 late to speak w/an attorney 2day - I adopted them as infants and told her that she can see them when they are 18. I live in my mom's home and now my mom is setting her up to move in next door w/another sister. My mother and I have gotten into it before about my letting my sister see them. She's supposed to be starting a ged program (she's 30) Monday. Mind you, my mother isn't letting her move in w/her (My mom adopted my sis's infant daughter) because it didn't work out before. I'm uncomfortable and feel I'm being forced to interact with her. Do I have any legal rights?

Saudis May Ban Letter ‘X’
A group of Islamic clergy in Saudi Arabia has condemned the letter "X” because of its similarity to a hated banned symbol – the cross.

The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, which has the ultimate say in all legal, civil and governance matters in the kingdom, issued a fatwa, or religious edict, against the "X.” It came in response to a Ministry of Trade query about whether a Saudi businessman could be granted trademark protection for a new service with the English name "Explorer.”

The request from the businessman, Amru Mohammad Faisal, was turned down.

"Experts who examined the English word ‘explorer’ were struck by how suspicious that ‘X’ appeared,” Youssef Ibrahim writes in the New York Sun.

Did you know that every Senator and Rep in the 39th Congress who wrote and ratified the amendment - every one of them who spoke (it was written in the Congressional Globe of 1866 -67 -68) - insisted that citizenship would NOT be granted to children born to aliens?

Why did they keep repeating it? Because so many in Congress voiced outrage that the wording might be interpreted to grant citizenship to babies born to aliens.

How could the Extreme Court think the Congress meant to grant citizenship to tiptoe-in-the-shadows illegals and deny to kids of known representatives of friendly governements? They HAD the record, read what had been said, but indicated they were not allowed to consider it. The minority opinion insisted they DID have the power to consider extraneous writings if they clearly explained the intent of the law.

I want to become a Marine Officer (Infantry) while going through college. I know, now at least, that you have to go to Annapolis w/ the Navy guys. But if you go to Annapolis, trying to be a Marine, is there a way you'll get stuck in the Navy?

Also, same question w/ NROTC?

Ok, I apparently there is a plan to merge the U.S., Canada, and Mexico into an North American Union (similar to European Union)
The public did not know about this. Congress did not know about this! Yet apparently President Bush along with the presidents of Canada and Mexico signed an aggreement to do this.
Is this bad?how? why did we not know? we can we do about this?

I am a Native American...(Mohawk Indian, and Cherokee)...and it seems so funny to me how white people are complaining about how the illegal immigrants are coming here without permission, but which Cheif gave white people the permission to come over here to steal our land, kill our people, and take over? You white people cant get mad because you did it to us! So how does it feel to have people come into your land without permission? What goes around comes around doesn't it? LOL!

When I joined Curves & paid the fee, I wasn't told that it was a Christian-oriented company. I don't want someone else's religious views shoved down my throat every time I work out, no matter whether I share those views or not. Shouldn't they have to notify people that they'll be prosletyzed to when they join the program?
