I'll reconsider the pride I take in not being a patriot, as soon as anyone can name just one good thing to come from "patriotism." I can rattle off atrocities it's caused all day; all I ask is one good thing.

I have heard they put their head in the sand. Maybe Australia could spare some to prove the US did the right thing by invading.

Well, I'm in the eleventh grade right now, and would like to know: do you think it's alright that in Canada boys and I believe girls too, are given the right to train at seventeen years of age in basic military training? I mean the high schools are showing kids how to be potential killers, and the government says this is for education and credits. But the truth is when these kids finish the summer training for which they are being paid for- then these are the same kids in which are entering places like: Afghanistan and Iraq at 18,19 years of age and older. So what I'm saying is- is this right for highschools in Canada to do this? I'd say it's just a way to win the war- and they do not give a **** about these kids- what do you think?

I read somewhere in Germany that a man stood a few feet infront of the police in a heavy trafic area and held a sign which reminded people of the speed limit. This caused the drivers to slow down and not get caught by the police. Is that legal to do in America?

With the naval buildup in the Persian gulf and the deployment of patriot missiles, will Bush's exit strategy for troops in Iraq going to be through Iran?
If so, do you think he'll claim he's only doing what the congress wanted him to do: get the troops out of Iraq.

When I was about 7, my Mom's boyfriend tried to molest me. Somehow I had the smarts to know the situation was wrong, and I ran out of the house. I have no memory of anything else happening before or after this day, in regards to innapropriate behavior.

When I was about 9 or 10 I told my Mom, but he was long gone by then. For years now, I have wondered if there is anything I could do in regards to this? I know his full name, where he might live (or at least where his parents live). I just feel by not saying anything long ago, I have put other kids at risk. I often wonder if he did anything to my little sister who would of been 4 at the time.

I am now 25, so I assume it is way too old to even bother. I tried to search online, couldn't find anything. Does anyone know more abou the time limits to report such things?

Thanks

I'm aware of all the theories about that day, from what Alex Jones has to say to the rest of the well documented theories that make the official one look...unreliable? If you believe the Dubya version of events, it was terrorists and nobody else, why did flight 11 fly over Indian Point Nuclear Power Station and not straight into it, thus killing millions instead of the few thousand souls that died that day? Surely the missed option would have been more desirable to Islamic terrorists? I ask only because what happened that day could have been so much worse, and thank God it wasn't, what actually happened was tragic enough, not to score points for 'conspiracy theorists'. Any ideas? Thanks.

Obviously the United Nations isn't that productivity considering everything that still occurs on this planet. I think it would be a good idea to get rid of all these separate countries and just form a United Nations or perhaps a United Earth. The choice to join would be voluntary, but the countries that joined would be able to reap the benefits like open borders for example. We could also focus the world's money on more important issues besides war.

I believe that worlds problem are most based on trust issues, if you have one nation that clearly takes away that problem. If you disagree let me know. Also would appreciate if anybody could list the advantages and disadvantages of ths plan.

Ramos and Compean were sentenced to 11 years and 12 years respectively. Oh, and the smuggler was granted immunity for the 743 pounds of pot, and is suing the federal government for $5 million.
As everyone knows, drug smugglers would never carry a concealed weapon and prosecutors should take a drug-ring lieutenant’s word over that of Border Patrol agents with clean records.
