My sister and b.i.l. have had their two boys wrongfully taken away by CPS. One of the chief complaints in that the children are at risk of Sexual abuse because my b.i.l. 'flashed' someone when he was 15 (and it went to court). I've seen the transcripts and that is what really happened. He is now 29 years old and the incident happened almost half his life ago and was on his juvenile record, which I thought, as a rule, was to be sealed. Can CPS truly charge my b.i.l. with something they think he only 'might' do, basing the accusation on a teenage prank that was dealt with a long time ago and supposed to be sealed? This whole situation is getting ridiculous....oh, and by the way, thanks for reading and helping so much. So many of you have been a blessing to me. :)

....presently so problematic?
I mean, folks, these aren't rattlesnakes we're talking here with their heads snapped off! (Poultry, maybe.) But it makes for a hell of a way for book signings, afterwards! I mean, ask Hillary Clinton!
What's the pretty Democrat Solution to this problem, probably? But Pull out? Like Pulosies.

When it comes to sending our sons and daughters into combat for a mistake that he made. I fought in Vietnam and I have a nephew who died in Iraq. He never set foot on foreign soil in combat. It would have put a crimp in his happy hour.

China has the population, the nukes, the money and the ruthlessness. While the USA becomes bankrupt funding middle-east wars (like the Russians did in Afganistan), China grows in power. How long before they overtake the USA and become the next World Superpower.

China has become the biggest polluter in the world. They have absolutely know pollution regulation to follow. Just the way that the pollution travels through the atmosphere the U.S. gets most of China pollution. Now China is becoming an Industrialized nation and is now burning much more fossil fuel than it did even just a few years ago. I believe that Americans shopping at Wal-Mart buying cheap a s s Chinese goods are causing more environmental problem then any of the S.U.V's on the market today. Shopping at Wal-Mart or any other "total Chinese imported goods store" is also keeping gas prices high. 1.2 billion Chinese people are now becoming automobile owners. Should America's shopping at Wal-mart be stopped or at least slowed down?

Many companies are inserting onerous binding arbitration clauses in their online contracts (for example, Cingluar/ATT's wireless service contract). They appear to be designed to deprive customers of the right to a court trial/trial by jury, and in particular the right to participate in a class-action lawsuit. If the contract is an online contract, i.e. no signature or paper is involved, are such binding arbitration clauses enforceable? Would a court dismiss your petition if you were a former customer of a company with binding arbitration, and you tried to sue the company? For example, if you think the company has mishandled your personal information?

President Bush’ call to increase the American military commitment in Iraq ran intense congressional opposition Thursday from democrats and from moderate republicans who expressed profound skepticism. A day after the president set out a new strategy for bringing stability to Iraq , the white house found few allies on either side of the aisle when secretary of state Condoleezza rice appeared before the senate foreign relations committee. The reception she received suggested that Mr. Bush’s prime-time address to the nation on Wednesday had done little to build political support for sending additional troops to Baghdad. I think what occurred her today was fairly profound. 21 members, with one or two notable exceptions, were expressing outright hostility or disagreement with the president’s proposal, the committee’s new democratic chairman, Senator Joseph r. Biden Jr. of Delaware, said at the conclusion of Ms. Rice testimony. I am a pacifist and strongly oppose this war but i do respect that our country as a whole chose to go to this war and therefore i think it is totally unfair that the politicians who voted for this war do not have to see their children being sent to Iraq, and the same goes for the majority of americans who approved of this war. Why is it that the poor working class has to sacrifice their children in the name of 'americanism, loyalty, spreading of democracy, liberating the Iraqis' and all that stuff??? i think it is ridiculously easy to sit on the couch and approve of this war and say this is for the greater good of the world....i mean how many of those people themselves went to fight this war they so passionately believe in?? if the nation as a whole choses to go to war then families from all socioeconomic background should contribute soldiers not just the working class...i dont know about any of you but i think this system is unfair.
