This kind of question assumes that everyone will agree that our Constitution IS working well. I don't necessarily feel that way. At least, not in regards to everything that is in the Constitution. I am willing to change a number of things -- adopt a few new amendments -- because I'm quite convinced that not everything is working well.

Um....its kinda falling apart, if you haven't noticed. I can't pray in public anymore, there are too many laws against that. Oh, but I can kill a child, though...more later.

I bet the founders of this country would be sick if they saw what state that we are in. They wrote the Constitution so that we could be free religiously to pray, assemble, etc. Now we can't even take our children to the Day of Prayer without groups disabling this from the public. And yes, for now it is ok to kill children as long as they are in the womb and helpless. Not like it is helpless to kill any child, but people seem to agree that in the womb is better.

How sickening?!!

And our constitution is helping the job market by how? Letting millions of illegal immigrants flood the market every year? It is so difficult to get a good job where I live because the "family" (like it or not, family is not defined, so many families could share a household) needs to make dual or even triple the income to live in a house. If they don't, then you could always claim illegal alienship and have free medical coverage and get a huge home to live in based on your income through the government. I'm sure taxpayers are more than happy to pay for people that don't pay into it.

I'm not impressed. My dream was to buy a house, but I am realizing that I have to illegally immigrate to another country to do this. Oh, but wait, If I went to another country, they would not treat me the same as if I illegally came to the US.

It was written by a group of very smart and intelligent men who knew firsthand what oppression and an out of control govt. was. And they figured out a system to prevent it from happening here. The Second Amendment is the big hammer that WE, the PEOPLE have to insure the sanctity of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
And that's why the liberals want to take our guns. They know WE can stop them from destroying our freedom, and they hate it!

Our constitution is totally based on mass representaion
No man has ultimate power over any subject
neither the president or the prime minister is the head of the country.
therefore none rule against the wishes of masses represented by the parliament
