I can see that only nahas p could under stand your question. And he has given a good answer too.
You question basically is related to " Common Civil Code ".
Isn't it ?
It is a complex issue which can not be answered here but the Common civil code is a good approach.
However I have few doubts which I couldn't get clarifications of.
Perhaps you could help me.
Take for example marriage. There are several traditions, usages to be followed in a Hindu marriage which is altogether a different procedure in different part of India. How do you offer to reconcile them ?
Take another example of 'HUF'. Would you like to abolish it and its benefits which a Hindu undivided family gets ?
What law will prevail as far as inheritance of agriculture land of a Hindu, to his daughters is concerned ? At present they do not get any share in the agr. land.
I think Muslims will be getting more benefits than the Hindus if com. civil code is implemented.

Indian Muslims have a same change with non-Muslim to be governor or etc in government. But if the situation very difficult, and Muslims must have a Muslims governed to checked law in your country coz that low is un-justified, it's better to muslims to join in governed election.

As far as the question of governing muslim religion is concern i beleive that they should be free to have their own board to monitor it, but all the factors sholud be checked by a single law for all religions.

there is an interesting controversial facter in the claims of muslim clerics to demand relegious laws to be implemented for muslim community in india.basically shariath laws are the basic of islamic relegious governing practises and was implemented during the time of khaleefas in its true spirit.shariath laws are having strict moral and criminal proceedure codes and according to the modern concepts of western socity it is hard and tough to implement, where the attittude towards differant crimes are changed.as we are aware prostituation is punishable with a capital punishment and theft cases may follow amputation and public execution for the third degree murders.such hard laws may be suitable in middleages and even as a strict concern of the present socities.but modern world demand more scientific approach in such punishments.while democracy established in the modern socities the approaches towards crimes are changed and the rules became more sofisticated and democratic.a culprit should be punished by a court of law until or unless he is established as guilty and socity is still providing a chance for him to change.in other means it is much liberal and flumsy when considered with strict sharia rules.
in india muslims as a community prefers criminal procedure code in the democratic concepts for the crime facters to enable a soft approch in their convictions, and civil laws they prefer shariath rules to ensure their personal baised convenience. that is why they are trying to demand the shariath laws for marriage ,divorse and inheritance only.shariathlaws are more liberal in such things because it was bounded to the concepts of other serious laws of other crimes.if it is a fully accepted way of laws it will be fine as a concept.will they prefer full implimentation of shariathlaws in india? it is not acceptable for them.at present even in muslim countries except saudi arabia shariath laws are in low spirit and the most claimed muslim country pakistan is still following their so called democartic laws.
as a part of the indian socity ,muslims can accept rules as per our constituation ,enjoying all the previlages of a democratic and liberal socity and can keep the cultural identities intact.same time the demand for shariath laws in certain aspects can be identified as basically they prefers a law of convenience. it is not according to the true spirit of islam.in any democrtic socity the laws should be followed commonly for everybody and ethnical and relegious identities can be followed by the liberal choice to practise freely and independantly.
