I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of the lounge I had been at with a group of people. I had to much to drink so I called my boyfriend to pick me up because I did not want to drive. While waiting for him police came up to my window and took me to jail. I called and my boyfriend picked me up there instead of at the lounge. I thought the police were giving me a DUI. I was not driving so did not understand the charges. Well now in the mail I get this summons. Do I need a lawyer? Should I just go to the arraignment without a lawyer and plead my case?

Ok..I'm having problem with an ex friend. She's basically mad over a guy, they haven't been together for a while but they have a "close" relationship. Thhe guy tried to come on to me, I told her, she confronts him and now I am portrayed as the bad one.
She calls my phone...If I don't answer she'll call 2-3 more times. Now other people are gettin involved and add their two cents in
thats not even true.

Should I/ can I get a restraining order cause the guy lives not far from me plus my younger siblings school is closer to him?
No physical harm has been done to me or my property/residence.

The new strategy looks a lot like the old strategy. It is so easy for those who have never served to ask others to do so in their stead. How many lives have to be lost for his legacy? I served active duty as a Marine during Vietnam. He just doesn't get it. For every mistake he makes people die.

evertime anybody asks a question on the iraq war then some stupid people answer saying the terrorist atacked us so we had to fight back.
why dont people get it iraq had nothing to do with 911 yes maybe afganistan because thats where Bush's buddy Bin laden was but anybody with half a brain will know that its all about laying a oil pipe line . america wake up you have put something like the mafia in control of your weapons and milatery and there out to mug the rest of the world in your name.

Were they ordered not to speak with the media because the Republicans are afraid we might find out that the troops don't really want to be in Iraq?

Reason I ask is it looks to me like the more liberal fray of the YA community seems like theyre actually shocked that people are dying there and it seems like their entire argument for ending a war that could invariably change the course for the entire middle east. People have been dying there since before experts could document it. I mean people were dying somewhere in the world during every presidential campaign but it seems like people talk more because of the media coverage. Dont you think that it has a lot to do with the fact that youre getting daily updates on how many people die on the daily news? So why would it be better for you to kill someone because you and all your buddies get into a barfight because of an argument or get drunk and run someone over in your car but its not okay to kill people to insure that more people dont have to suffer?

Currently the U.S. spent 400 billion dollars for the war, lost more than 3000 U.S. soldiers, and Pres. Bush's just announced another 20,000 troops to be sent there. I support my troops and value their sacrifices to keep us safe, but do you think this will lead to second "Vietnam War", where we gained nothing.

A friend of mine was fired for a misdemeanor charge over 3 years ago. The background was that he had been employed with a company for close to 8mnths and this wasn't a problem before. He also is was a supervisor and is all from a different company. What the major thing in our minds is that he hired an employee who is a female and from the area who was always late for work and somedays pulled a no call no show. There was also suspicions that she was on some form of drugs since somedays she showed up to work glazy eyed etc... Well my friend tried to fire her a couple of times but everytime the owner of the company would bring her back. The last incident occurred with her not showing up at all and my friend telling her don't bother coming in tommorow. Well come monday his boss shows up saying he saw the police report and does not want him on the job or anyother job. Another thing is that we also know that several other employees that worked for the same company also had criminal records.

Is there a difference between what is absolutely the correct thing to do versus doing what the majority of the public wants them to do? What if the politician is trying to do the correct thing (for the long term) but that is different than what the voting public wants? Should the politician do the right thing or what the public wants?

She turned down a formal request from family members of these prisoners and she is just a few miles away at Gitmo...
Does she only feel pity for terrorist and not the innocent political prisoners in Cuba or is she afraid that the Cuban government wont put up with her antics?

My opinion is that she is both an anti-American domestic terrorist and a "chickendove" who will only protest against our liberal government who that allows her to get away with treason.
