Ok..I'm having problem with an ex friend. She's basically mad over a guy, they haven't been together for a while but they have a "close" relationship. Thhe guy tried to come on to me, I told her, she confronts him and now I am portrayed as the bad one.
She calls my phone...If I don't answer she'll call 2-3 more times. Now other people are gettin involved and add their two cents in
thats not even true.

Should I/ can I get a restraining order cause the guy lives not far from me plus my younger siblings school is closer to him?
No physical harm has been done to me or my property/residence.

Yes, you can if she has threatened you or your siblings with bodily harm AND has taken any overt action to carry it out - tresspassed after told not to, assaulted you in any way (pushed you, touched you offensively, etc.), stalked, or damaged your property. Let her leave messages on your phone, record them and take them to court as evidence, along with any witness, etc., if you really think this could end up causing you physical harm. Have you called the cops? If they go talk to her this will probably end it all; if they have talked to them and threats continue - file for the protective order immediately!

No, you can't. Who were you going to restrain, him, her, or all the other people involved? Restraining orders are for cases of imminent threat of bodily harm/property damage or for REASONABLE perception of such harm. A judge gets to define reasonable, not you.

You can get one, make sure you have just cause, if she is trying to come over or following you yes. Otherwise report her to the phone company for using the phone to harass you.

Cut all ties with your "so-called" friend. You told her what happened and obviously she does not believe you. Check into ALL options, and especially if you have younger siblings around you, or him, you might check into free consulation with a lawyer. Good luck!

I think there has to be a threat of bodily harm before one can be issued.
