This question reminds me so much of a scene in "The Gangs of New York". As soon as those Irish stepped off the boat they were enlisted in the Union army.
I think we should do this as well. We should automatically sign them up to go to Iraq. Those that have already served their time do not have to go: only the illegals.

At least you're being reasonable and proposing a solution to the problem. Unlike all the antis that want them kicked out even though that's not going to fix the problem of illegal immigration. Being extremist and "enforcing the law," like a lot of people propose, is only going to make matters A LOT worse. I like your proposal.

This program already exists. If you are an immigrant, legal or illegal and enlist you automatically become a citizen as a reward.

Well the army has not been reaching recruiting goals latley(they had a special news program about that.) since there are millions of illegals we could send them off the Iraq, It will greatly increas our army population.lol.

Or. . .
They could go through the INS, fill out the proper paperwork, apply for the proper documentation, pay the proper fees, do it the LEGAL way.
Yeah. I like going the legal route better. No deals - either follow the law or stay out.

Because when things get rough they're not going to risk their lives for the USA. Germany tried this in WW11 and they surrendered wholesale to the Allies. England used to hire mercenaries to fill the ranks in their world wide colonial system with similar results.
