i know a friend who not working anymore because she is having another child and have to leave work because of the labor and she is high risk..she looking for food stamps but no other assistance such as medicare ect..should she still be able to receive those benifits

she can get food stamps, WIC (till the child is 5) and Medicaid on her (to cover the birth and delivery) and when the child is born, Medicaid on the child.. She will need to be prepared when they ask the question" how are u paying ur other expenses"..they will ask..

If she has no income and she is pregnant, than yes she should be eligible. She should call her local agency, with her situation they should be able to take most of the information over the phone. Good luck to her.

She will have to qualify, but yes she should be able to get just the one service if that is all she wants. She should just apply for only that service.

I think only very old people and illegals get food stamps.
It used to help the homeless and very poor or people like your friend, but the government stopped that.

they usually give you a disability check for 6 weeks, then a family leave check for 6 weeks.
