It is extremely doubtful either one will be running. If that were the race Gore would probably win because the people will have had enough of republican presidents after 2 more years of Bush.

Mitt Romney would win because he is a successful man who stands for the Truth and stands up for what he believes in. Al Gore is a Liberal Democrat who does not always speak the truth and is more concerned about the enviroment and not about other concerns facing the United States of America.

In that matchup, Gore easily. I read a newspaper article today in my local paper, where many, including die-hard Republicans, admit they will not vote for Romney because he is a Mormon. They also theorize that even more voters won't admit to a religious bias (to the polltakers) but will also not vote for him on the actual day.

Also, I think a lot of Independent voters will vote for Gore because of the war and upset with Bush and the Republicans because of that. I also think Gore has gotten some new fans recently because of his recent global warming movie and going around the country with that.

Now, do I think Gore will be our next President? I don't think so. I don't know if those two will be the ones with the nomination. At this point, I'm not sure who will get it though. We'll have to see what happens with Iraq!

Romney is great in Illegal. However he is the worst of worse flip floppers!!! He was pro-choice in Massachusetts. He was also pro gay marriage. Now that he is running for president he is Pro-life and Anti-gay union. However on the educational and economical front he did was terrific.

Gore I haven't cared for him since his tantrum in 2000.
I think I would turn down both. I don't want a president taking tantrums in office. I also don't want someone to stand on a platform then do a double take when he takes office.

Gore is finished, if someone like Harry Truman where around today he would chase out half of the people in the Democratic Party.

I'd say Mitt Romney..he is currently Governor of a Democrate State...he knows how to work with that party and he has done good with what he is given..the Salt Lake Olympics for one were in the hole $$ and he turned it into a great success..

Between those two Romney would win. However, you probably will see some surprises in 2008, because neither of those two will be the prominent one in that election
