first of all, freeky weeky, my son isnt stupid, he made a bad descision. In reading your profile it seems you have also made a few bad decisions in your life.He WAS drinking as well but the bottles wernt his.I wasnt asking anyones moral opinion of the situation i was asking "legally" is it in his possesion when it wasnt his vehicle.Someone who has as many great qualities as you boast about in your profile should learn to not make judgement about people whom you know nothing about.People who make judgements like yours on such litle info are generally very self centered, self rightous and usually wrong.

Permanent Residents don't get passports from the US. Do they need to get any more documentation to be able to travel back into the US after this new passport law, or will just showing your green card at the border do? How can a PR travel to another country in europe and southamerica if he doesn't have a passport from any country just a "green card?"

My heaven. Successful people already PAY MORE because we make more. We also pay more property taxes and sales taxes to add to our income tax.
WHY should we be taxed at 30 some % and other people are only taxed in the teens?

A FLAT tax is fair.

"The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the operation's sensitivity, said at least one AC-130 gunship was used in the attack.

CNN, NBC and CBS first reported the military action. Citing Pentagon officials, CBS said the targets included the senior al-Qaida leader in East Africa and an al-Qaida operative wanted for his involvement in the 1998 bombings of the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

The same operatives are also believed responsible for a 2002 attack on Israeli tourists in Kenya and an attempt to shoot down an Israeli aircraft the same day, NBC News reported.

The 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killed more than 250 people. The 2002 attack on an Israeli-owned hotel in Kenya killed 15."

I want to obtain a CCW permit in the Los Angeles county area in the state of California, but a lot of people say it's hard to obtain one because you need to take a weekend course and pass, and pay the fees, but even though you pass it your still not guaranteed the permit, because you still have to get questioned by law enforcement personal telling them why you want the license and you have to have a good answer telling them why you want it. Even if you give them a good answer they still might not give it to you because your looks. So my question is, is there a place where I can just pay the fees and do the paperwork without going through the class and Law Enforcement but still obtain a legal permit? I am not a criminal or nothing like that, the gun is registered to me.

More troops are likely, but not a draft
The question of whether to send more troops to Iraq — soon, at least for a short term — isn’t the only military decision awaiting President Bush.
Bush also is proposing to boost permanent force levels in the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, as both are stretching to meet demands in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. In short, the president is stuck between Iraq and a hard place.
The first issue — troop levels in Iraq — would be a tough sell, even if it might make sense from a strategic standpoint. On the other hand, how much concern can a lame-duck president have for the political popularity of such a move?
The matter of bolstering the number of soldiers and Marines — especially in light of the global battle against terrorist threats might find more support, in public and in Congress.

think about it, if anything were to go down america would be right there for them, but at the same time arent held liable for the actions of america, and since they;re not really seen as a threat they arent much of a target for terrorism, what do you think

Why do they think they can solve some problems of the world only to make it worse? eg Iraq and Afghanistan. All this whilst they ignore other problems, doing nothing for all the problems in Africa? Either they are dumb "do gooders" or only interested in themselves or what gain they can get from interfering. Does anyone else think Americans are dumb and 'polically challenged".

I recently had lunch at a restaurant and got very sick for 2 days. I know it was from the lunch I ate because I wasn't sick that morning and hadn't eaten before that. If I had gone to the ER and tested positive for food poisoning, could I have sued the restaurant even though I suffered no permanent injury?

What do the polls tell you to do today? Raise taxes on the successful workers?

Yes - let's let the media reporting dictate how a story will be told... AND THEN let the people who are HOME during the day answering their phones tell us what to do next...
