We don't bother each other. We are friendly and we already reach to border agreements long ago. Don't think they would do anything negative to us since they do rely on us for protection.
True friend? Not sure. We just stay stable and peaceful with each other and we're good and they are a NATO country, they are aligned with us. Canada has troops in Afghanistan, though I'm not sure of Iraq.
