Saddam killed people with mustard gas, many people, doesn't that equal "mass destruction"?

I'm a brit and don't like the way our government runs our country, mainly because we are supposed to be a democracy but no one listens to the people. I feel I could be a better PM than Tony Blair.

Do you think you could do a better job in government in your country? if so what job, what would you do, and why do you think it would be useful?

Is the organization of the U.S. military suited for todays world. I'm thinking that mass mobilization are pretty well irrelavant in today's world. It doesn't seem that we have learned how to fight wars against anything other than a large military force.

I think there are some ways we could get the government to listen to us. just a thought. some business owners will probably not agree with this. but what if for one day the u.s. stands still. meaning nobody goes to work ,nobody maybe in the hospital thats all.just one day we could go outside and sit with our neighbors the whole day and hold pictures of the ones we lost . i cant reall think of a bigger more simplistic statement.make the economy halt alittle because our troops are the ones over there last year i lost my sister and if even for one day i could bring her back i would. all im saying is i dont think we are trying enough to make them listen .i hope oneday someone will......................peace and luv

My husband and I will be meeting with a Navy recruiter on Tuesday. My husband is former Army (before he met me). I'm very unsure and uneasy about allowing him to enlist. Any information about the lifestyle and such would be so very helpful. Also, any suggestions for questions to ask the recruiter would also be very welcomed! Thank you all, and God Bless!

Bush made a mockery of Democracy. He isolated the late president Arafat and insisted on an alternative democratically elected government. The people elected Hamas but he refused to recognize them and keeps calling them terrorists. We may disagree with their methods but the fact remains that they are legitimate resistance against occupation by a foreign country( Israel)

March for America?

Please join us~~~~

LFRA is a very grassroots, down to earth Non-Profit Corporation.

Our projects and foci attempt to resolve issues that do not support the best interests of American citizens. We totally agree with Roosevelt’s 1907 vision for immigration for our nation. (See Below.)

Our first project involves organizing and managing a rally in Washington DC and at individual state capitals to let our government officials know that we will no longer tolerate being ignored in our requests to close and secure our borders Keep in mind that we are PRO legal immigration and are AGAINST illegal immigration for our nation.

For your review and consideration we are including basic information about the rally and are inviting you to join us if at all possible. Participants/marchers, state coordinators, pro bono speakers and supporters are needed. We also have a need for Worker-bees to help spread the word and assist with various tasks.

If your schedule doesn’t allow you to participate, please circulate this email to others who might be interested in this event. Any and all suggestions you could make would definitely be appreciated.

When you've reached a decision please register online at our website as soon as possible. Your questions are welcome as well.

"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." -Theodore Roosevelt, 1907
