I received a US census questionnaire and do not want to fill it out because of all the personal information they want to know about you and your family. I believe it's my right to not have to give this information to a 3rd party. It's both a pain and time consuming. What happens if you refuse to fill it out? Thanks!

The floods, ice, and wind that have knocked out power in Western Washington?

It's a Blue State, after all, should only be naturally for them to blame Bush.

And why aren't any of those affected by the lack of electricity asking for a $2,000 debit card from FEMA and living in hotels at the expense of the government?

I'm a waitress and the boss just implemented a new rule saying that if you lost a credit card slip or have one that is unsigned you have to pay the amount that it was.I believe that this is like paying for the same meal twice and I don't know where that money is going. This has forced servers to sign any unsigned slips they have had throughout the day.Is the employer legally able to do this?

I am the plaintiff in a case in which attorney fees can be awarded. I am pro-se in the matter however, so would this still count? Can I be awarded the attorney fees? I worked just as hard, and had to file all the paperwork, fair is fair.

Thanks!

If Mullahs manage to get WMDs or Nuclear wepons their three main targets would be
the US (The Great Satan)
Israel (Palestenian Issue)
India (Kashmir Issue)
Probably Britain (For supporting the US)
Shoudnt these countries unite to form a common front to prevent this from happening. United they can tackle this problem more aggresively and take the fight to the Islamists. Your opinion pls?

I'd consider myself an Independant. It's obvious both parties have "issues" and frankly I'm not a big "fan" of politics to begin with. But I realize a responsible adult should pay attention to certain issues and should participate (vote) accordingly, else (as some like to say) have no reason to complain. I know this will be a controversial statement and will be met with a lot of smart comments, but I think people are extremely small-minded who allow themselves to follow one political party on all issues, no matter what. Who says Republicans are conservatives and Democrats are liberals? The media? Who or what came up with this "side definition", and why must it be defined that way? I'm "liberal" on some issues and "conservative" on others. But I hear a lot of people (usually always Republicans) say "No. You have to draw the line. You're either this or that. Black or white. If you can't decide there's no room for you here." Does your political affiliation affect your life that much?????

American are being shot by Iraqi snipers, and Americans only act retroactively.
Why arent our snipers undercover seeking their snipers?
All it takes is thermal imaging/night vision goggles, and setting up a perimeter farther out. Snipers are obvious even to the untrained eye.

And dont try to tell me Americans are too obvious. Delta Force and Navy SEALS are highly trained to operate as foreign subjects, including fluency. See: Richard Marcinko, 'Rogue Warrior' in which a small group of SEALS were able to pass themselves as locals in Beirut, even obtaining information sought after by US intelligence for months.

And to those who think sniping is cowardice, I suggest a refresher course on American military tactics 1776-1783 particularly, 'Battle of Lexington and Concord'.

So why are we unable to adapt, and place our snipers in position to snipe them? Is our military really so top heavy with approvals and permissions and decision making channels?

A question to all you NeoCon Bush-supporters and war-mongers: How do you say "Merry Christmas" to all the moms, dads, and wives of the 3000 young men that have been killed in a war waged on outright lies and deception to the American public? Or do you just ignore them, like Bush ignored Cindy Sheehan?

Every thinking person knows that we must bring democracy to the Middle East or the world’s security will be at risk. How can the left conclude that if we just talk nicely to these terrorist states that they will suddenly lay down their arms and become our friends?
Listen to the leader of Iran… On television nightly asking for the death of the United States and that he wants to “push Israel into the sea”. How can you have rational discussions with a mad man?

On this Christmas Eve, I would like to wish all of my Conservative brothers and sisters a joy filled season.

I also want to wish the same to you on the Left. Especially the ones who make intelligent, although often misguided, comments on the posts.

To the Lunatic Fringe, I hope you are able to make it through the days ahead on your medication. I would hate to see your head pop off like a Champagne Cork as you sit and fret about the conspiracy theories that torment your every waking moment.

It is a fact that the bulk of deaths in Vietnam were middle and lower middle class kids-College deferrments (Cheney)-special considerations and placement (Bush)-Oh yea I am a Vietnam Vet-the one positive thing about the draft-is that if the rich kids are forced to go-you are going to be sure it is a War that has to be fought.
