If they were ordered by a commanding officer and dancing the Hokey Pokey would put no civillians in danger.
The chain of command is a powerful thing

In fact the person who wrote the Hokey Pokey, Ron Amerson, died last week. They had problems at his funeral...his right foot would all of a sudden stick out of the coffin, followed by the left foot.....

Are you as stupid as you sound? No one in the military chain of command would "order" someone to do something as ridiculous as that. They can encourage it all they want, but something like that wouldn't be considered a lawful order and doesn't have anything to do with anything, and no, they wouldn't order anyone to do it. If they did, being a non lawful order, it can be refused. For someone who was just cracking on the military for being dumb and stuck in iraq, you don't have much room to talk.

If it meant it would keep you safe whether people like you deserve it or not yes they would do it altho they wouldn't be ordered to do such a thing. Instead why don't you wish them a Merry Christmas in the spirit of gratitude for what they are doing for you.

That would come under the heading of an illegal order , as it would be only for the gratification of the person giving it.
The person giving such anorder would be in some deep guano .

Are you serious? Do you have no respect for the armed forces? Aren't they the ones who fight for American's freedom? Then you insult them by using your freedom of speech to write such stupid questions?

No, an order has to be lawful, which also means it has to be in support of the mission.
