because they have been so utterly successful brainwashing the masses that there is a terrorist living next dorr to us in Anywhere, USA that they do not have to accept responsibility for their atrocities, lies, oppression etc. They keep us bickering about a couple soundbites and they ride the wave of unaccountability.

Great question and a sad sad sad answer

I'm sure you will give me the thumbs down, but here is the truth.

I don't know why you think the conservatives on here should take responsibility for the war, we didn't make the decesion to go. You can blame both the Republicans and Democrats in Washington for that one. They voted for it.

You got me on the corruption. This last administration has gotten away from what makes them Republican in every way, except for lower taxes.

The debt may seem large to the naked eye, but if you do a little research you will see that the debt relative to our GDP has been much higher many times in the past.

And trade deficits are nothing to worry about. We have had a trade deficit for most of our countries existance(except the post WW2 era) and the sky never fell.

Personally, I would be more concerned with the budget deficit, but then again I can't forsee Democrats doing much about that except making it worse, as every pledge I have seen made by them so far is to increase spending.

Because many of the Republicans in office are not true Republicans. They spent too much and their base voted them out.

Both parties are corrupt. NY Comptroller Alan Hevesi was just convicted of fraud and went to jail. He was just reelected. When the leadership found out about Foley and his emails, he was booted immediately. Cannot say the same for Studds and Frank.

The Iraq war is nothing like what you portray it as. It is a war and you have no clue as to what it is like to be in a war.

We had 9-11 which destroyed this economy. We have closed the deficit. It takes time. What needs to happen is more tax cuts, so money can be funneled into the economy. This is turn brings in more $ to the treasury. This does not excuse the out of control spending by Republicans and Pres Bush.

Trade deficits are because we have excessive taxation and regulation that makes it near impossible to make money in manufacturing. Fair Tax solves it.

Question for you:

If they are so bad, why is the Dow going thru the roof and the economy booming?

Why are more people being put to work then before?

Why don't the Liberals put a real plan on the table instead of talking a lot but saying nothing?

Last, for the Democrats, who is gonna pay for all your plans and programs you want in place should you win the White House???

I figured as much, the poor working person who pays their high taxes every year to support your sorry a$$. Maybe we need to fire all the politicians and every election, put new people in their no matter what.

Don't you guys ever get tired of saying the same things over and over? You just attack and attack and attack. You don't seem to be able to see past your hate and even try to be supporting of your country. Why is that? What have any of you done to try, actually try to change anything besides all the complaining? If you are a citizen of this country you have a duty to do all you can do to support it or get out of Dodge. If you aren't going to leave stay and do something positive for a change. Merry Christmas to you from a conservative republican!
