Oh, it's just getting started. You'll see war in that region for the rest of your life. That's where all the oil is. The oil is required for power and domination.

You may have just killed off a few hundred yourself by posting this question. How does that make you feel?
Personally, I was surprised by the war. I thought we'd be another two years before we'd have to go into Iraq, and I thought we'd build our civil affairs and counterinsurgency capabilities before we went. I've been annoyed about the way things have gone ever since, but the strategy is good and the small-unit tactics are good. It's that other stuff that sucks. And our enemies are not killing our troops to gain military objectives. Nobody can do that. They're taking a page out of Mao's book, as Giap showed, to stir discontent in the US in order to force a withdrawal. If you had a clue what you were talking about, you'd know that and not post crap like this on line. There are people trying to justify this slant and think they're still supporting the troops. Sorry, it doesn't work like that. Gripe about the administration of the war, but don't undercut our troops in the field.

None. I knew that this war was a bad idea and had nothing to do with fighting terrorism from the beggining. Maybe if we had stood Iran down in the beggining instead of worrying about getting Saddam out of power we wouldn't be in the problem we are now.

It is not just soldiers that are dying. there is lots of innocent civilians including CHILDREN over there that are dieing left and right. No one should have to die. these soldiers choose to go to war and fight whether its right or wrong. These children do not choose to get killed. Its a lose lose situation and until the president and people in power stop this nonsense the killing will keep going on.

No idea. We are at war. Dig your head in the sand and ignore the problem. Hopefully, you will be in the range of the nuke when it would be dropped in a major city.

Nice way to look at things. Maybe we should just purchase the Koran and all burn the bible. It will take as long as it takes to remove the world from radical Islam. The world needs the real Muslims to stand up against this evil that portrays their religion the way they do. Don't insult the people who died protecting our country. many millions died to stop oppression from Hitler. That took as long as it took as well.
